Method for configuring, method for providing topology information, name service server, device, computer program and computer-readable medium
A method for providing topology information, use of a name service server, a device, a computer program, a computer-readable medium and a method for configuring a device to be named within an industrial network, wherein a) the device to be named receives a neighbouring name message from a neighbouring device, b) a self-naming module creates a topological neighbouring domain name based on the neighbouring name message, c) the self-naming module transmits the topological neighbouring domain name to a name service server, d) the self-naming module receives from the name service server a response message, which includes at least one device name of the device to be named belonging to the topological neighbouring domain name, and e) at least one device name from the response message is assigned to the device to be named and this name is stored as the device name by the self-naming module.
SECURE DEVICE MANAGEMENT
Techniques are described for managing devices using multiple virtual personal area networks (VPANs). A border router can receive a first request to join a network from a first device. The first device may be assigned to a first virtual personal area network (VPAN), which has an associated first group temporal key (GTK). The first GTK can be distributed to the first virtual device. The border router can also receive a second request to join a network from a second device. The second device may be assigned to a second VPAN, which has an associated second GTK. The second GTK can be distributed to the second virtual device.
Dynamic binding and load determination in a content delivery network (CDN)
A content provider has a plurality of content provider domain names, and a content delivery network (CDN) allocates a plurality of CDN domain names to the particular content provider. The content provider domain names are mapped to the CDN domain names. CDN domain names are bound to corresponding CDN clusters. The binding of the of CDN domain names to corresponding CDN clusters is modified.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR NAME ENCRYPTION AGREEMENT IN A CONTENT CENTRIC NETWORK
One embodiment provides a system that facilitates efficient name encryption in a CCN. During operation, the system determines, by a client computing device, an index for a name of an interest, wherein the name is a hierarchically structured variable length identifier that includes contiguous name components ordered from a most general level to a most specific level, wherein the index indicates a minimum number of the contiguous name components beginning from the most general level that represent a minimum routable prefix needed to route the interest to a content producing device that can satisfy the interest. The system encrypts one or more name components of the interest name beginning with the name component immediately following the minimum routable prefix. The system transmits the interest based on the encrypted name, thereby facilitating efficient name encryption in a CCN.

Securing communications in a network function virtualization (NFV) core network
A method of electronic communication via a virtual network function (NFV) implementation of a core network. The method comprises receiving a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) content request from a user equipment (UE), wherein the HTTP content request comprises an identification of a content source and determining by an orchestrator service that insufficient NFV processing capacity is available to perform the HTTP content request, where the orchestrator service is an application that executes on a first physical host. The method further comprises dynamically increasing the NFV processing capacity by the orchestrator service, performing the HTTP content request using the increased NFV processing capacity, and returning a HTTP content response to the UE, wherein the HTTP content response does not comprise identification of the content source.
Network address resolution
A content delivery method, and related apparatus, that involves the operations of receiving a request for a content resource including at least one embedded resource with a tag. Upon identification of the tag, using at least one delivery parameter to generate a modified embedded resource. Embedding the modified embedded resource in a content resource, such as an HTML document. Delivering, such as in response to request from a browser, the content resource with the modified embedded resource.
