Method for resolving naming identifiers
Method for resolving name identifiers. Existing naming identifier resolution solutions give priority to one aspect, performance of a service or protection of privacy, over the other without it being possible to deviate therefrom. This lack of flexibility is detrimental to the user's quality of experience. This also impacts resource management for various communication equipment involved in the resolution of naming identifiers. The proposed solution makes it possible to give priority to performance or respecting privacy on a case-by-case basis. On the basis of an authorization to share a location of the equipment, the resolver gives priority to transmitting either a network address of a server associated with the naming identifier to be resolved requiring location information of the equipment, giving priority to performance, or a network address of a server associated with the naming identifier to be resolved not requiring location information of the equipment, giving priority to respecting privacy.
SERVER NODE ID ADDRESS RECOGNITION DEVICE
Disclosed is a server node ID address recognition device, including: a first recognition module, arranged in a cabinet and provided with a light entrance hole and a plurality of light exit holes; a plurality of case vertical plates arranged in the cabinet, each including a light exit hole and a plurality of light entrance holes, and a number and positions of the light entrance holes in each case vertical plate are configured to be associated with an ID address; and a second recognition module arranged on a server, including a light source, the second recognition module is provided with a light exit hole and a plurality of light entrance holes corresponding to the first recognition module.
Methods and apparatus for associating media devices with a demographic composition of a geographic area
Example methods and apparatus for associating media devices with a demographic composition of a geographic area are disclosed. Disclosed example apparatus are to obtain a plurality of Internet Protocol addresses assigned to a media device associated with a panel member. Disclosed example apparatus are also to determine a most used Internet Protocol address from the plurality of Internet Protocol addresses, determine a geographic location corresponding to the most used Internet Protocol address, associate a geographic area with the media device in response to a determination that the geographic location corresponds to a location of an internet service provider, determine a demographic profile associated with the geographic area, and associate the demographic profile with the media device.
System and method for content fetching using a selected intermediary device and multiple servers
A method for fetching a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed, using tunnel devices serving as intermediate devices. The tunnel device is selected based on an attribute, such as IP Geolocation. A tunnel bank server stores a list of available tunnels that may be used, associated with values of various attribute types. The tunnel devices initiate communication with the tunnel bank server, and stays connected to it, for allowing a communication session initiated by the tunnel bank server. Upon receiving a request from a client to a content and for specific attribute types and values, a tunnel is selected by the tunnel bank server, and is used as a tunnel for retrieving the required content from the web server, using standard protocol such as SOCKS, WebSocket or HTTP Proxy. The client only communicates with a super proxy server that manages the content fetching scheme.
Region-based bridging of calls using client-specific control and revised caller identifiers
Apparatus and methods are disclosed for client-based control of revising caller identifications (IDs) for communications between a private network and a public network. An apparatus including a telecommunications-providing server and processing circuit that communicates client-specific sets of data over an interface protocol. The telecommunications-providing server revises a caller ID for a VoIP call based on the client-specific sets of data, an identifier that corresponds to a requesting endpoint, and a geographic region determined from the call request. Further, the telecommunications-providing server causes control data to be sent to activate an analog-telephone bridging circuit and redirect the VoIP call by obtaining a dial tone and passes at least a subset of the data packet through the analog-telephone bridging circuit for connecting over the local line. The subset of the data packet includes the revised caller ID which is a local number identified by the determined geographic region.
Systems, methods and apparatus for geofence networks
Systems, methods and devices for location-based services are disclosed in the present invention. A multiplicity of network devices, a database, and a server platform in network-based communication. The database stores a space-network model binding IP addresses and physical locations. The server platform is operable to generate at least one geofence in the space-network model and specify entitlements for the location-based services within the at least one geofence. The at least one geofence and specific entitlement are stored to the database. The multiplicity of network devices is configured to learn the space-network model and the at least one geofence and perform tasks based on the entitlements specified for the location-based services within the at least one geofence.
System and method for improving content fetching by selecting tunnel devices
Domain name server allocation method and apparatus
In a domain name system (DNS) server allocation method, a session management function (SMF) receives a session establishment request message sent by UE, where the request message includes a name of a data network to be accessed by the UE. The SMF obtains an IP address of a first DNS server based on the name of the data network and a geographical location of the UE. The SMF then sends to the UE a session establishment response message that includes the IP address of the first DNS server.
Localization for domain name resolution
Systems, apparatuses, and method are described for resolving domain names based on localization. A computing device may send, to a name server, a request indicating a domain. The name server may determine one or more servers associated with the domain based on the locations of the one or more servers and/or the computing device. The name server may send, to the computing device, a message indicating the determined one or more servers.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DELIVERY AND RECEIPT OF ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
A system for sending one or more electronic messages to one or more intended recipients each having access to an electronic communication device is provided. The electronic messages include a predefined address format and the one or more intended recipients are associated with one or more fixed geographic locations. The system includes a sender user interface operable to enable a sender to create and send one or more electronic messages to one or more predefined message addresses. The system further includes a computer processor in communication with the sender user interface and configured to resolve the one or more predefined addresses with respective associated fixed geographic locations, and forward the one or more electronic messages to one or more electronic message accounts associated with the one or more predefined addresses. Further, one or more recipient user interfaces are operable to enable intended recipients, associated with one or more fixed geographic locations, to access the one or more electronic messages sent to the message accounts associated with the recipient's fixed geographic location.
