Systems and methods for metered automation controller functionality
Metering automation controller functionality includes accessing a project code that defines one or more operations of an industrial automation controller, analyzing the project code to identify one or more capabilities of the industrial automation controller that are utilized by the one or more operations, generating a file indicative of the one or more capabilities of the industrial automation controller, transmitting the file to a server that generates a certificate for authorizing the industrial automation controller to execute the project code, receiving the certificate from the server that identifies the file and an authorization for the industrial automation controller to execute the project code to perform the one or more operations, and transmitting the project code, the file, and the certificate to the industrial automation controller for execution.
METHOD FOR DELEGATING THE DELIVERY OF CONTENT ITEMS TO A CACHE SERVER
The advent of end-to-end encryption systems has put an end to the use of “caching” methods which consisted of replicating and storing data flows relating to content items in a “cache” which is located on board one or more intermediate devices. However, the disappearance of these “caching” solutions affects the management of the resources of different communication devices, particularly by bringing about an increase in the number of connections between communication devices that is necessary for delivering content items to the user terminals. Unlike known “caching” techniques in which the content itself is stored in at least one cache memory of a cache server, the method relies on storing in a cache server all of the messages exchanged between the original server hosting the content and the cache server, leading to the delivery of the content to the cache server.
ENHANCED ACCESS TO MEDIA, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system and method are described. An illustrative system enables operations such as: receiving new associated content from a user device and quantifying the new associated content via generating at least one new attribute-value pair object according to a multi-dimensional namespace and including at least some quantified attribute-value pairs determined from implementations of recognition algorithms executed on at least some of the new associated content. The operations may further include linking the at least one new attribute-value pair object into the linked list data structure and recording publication of the new associated content and the at least one new attribute-value pair object on a notarized ledger.
Method for managing soft IP licenses on a partially reconfigurable hardware system
A method for managing licenses for soft IP on a partially reconfigurable hardware system, in particular an FPGA, wherein a license manager is provided in the non-configurable part of the hardware system, or is accessible only for the non-configurable part of the hardware system, where the license manager has exclusive access to a non-volatile memory in which license data having a time restriction of the useful life of at least one soft IP is stored, where before activating a particular soft IP, the license manager checks whether the useful life has expired, where the license manager only releases use of the soft IP if the useful life has not yet expired, where the license data is changed using a key, which is stored in a non-volatile memory for license data, and where a new key is stored and the preceding key is deleted when the license data is changed.
System, device, and method of providing authenticity and rights verification mechanism for media content and for its derived versions
System, device, and method of providing authenticity and rights verification mechanism for media content and for its derived versions. A media authenticity server is configured to receive a content item, and to generate for it a record having a unique content identifier and indications of permitted modifications, and optionally also copyright information usage restrictions. The media authenticity server authorizes or blocks modifications requests regarding the content item. The media authenticity server tracks and logs the permitted modifications performed on the content item, and makes this log available for inspection to end-user devices via a web browser or via a content consumption application. Optionally, playback or consumption of a modified version of the content item is blocked, or is accompanied by a warning message, if the modified version is not associated with an authenticated log of permitted modifications.
Aggregated media rights platform
In one embodiment, a processing device receives a first digital fingerprint of a media item along with a first content management rule. The processing device separately receives a second digital fingerprint of the media item along with a second content management rule. The processing device determines that the received digital fingerprints are for the same media item based upon a match between the first digital fingerprint and the second digital fingerprint. The processing device determines that all rights to the media item have been accounted for, and then determines a set of actions to be performed for hosted media items comprising the media item based at least in part upon the first content management rule and the second content management rule. Processing logic may also perform a conflict resolution process for conflicting rights claims to the media item.
Claiming delayed live reference streams
A system and method for identifying unauthorized uploaded content that has been uploaded before a validated live reference stream has been ingested is disclosed herein. The live reference stream is compared against the indexed uploaded content repeatedly as the live reference stream is received. The matching process is done once per a time period until a match meeting a minimum match duration threshold is identified. The match is then determined to be unauthorized, and a claim is issued against the unauthorized uploaded content. The time period can be based on a utility based analysis that factors the computational costs of repeated matching versus the diminishing value of the live reference stream as time progresses.
Blockchain-based license management
Blockchain-based license management provides capabilities for managing licensable aspects of a plurality of IHSs (Information Handling Systems) participating in the blockchain comprised of individual license blocks that record licensing transactions. A licensing authority initiates the blockchain and modifies licensable aspects of a specific participating target IHS by distributing license blocks that include one or more license tokens and license logic specifying instructions for the target's evaluation of the license tokens. Each participating IHS validates the received license blocks and adds them to a local copy of the blockchain. If a participating IHS is the target, that IHS uses the license logic to determine licensing modifications indicated by the licensing token. Licensable aspects of the IHS may then be modified based on the determined licensing modifications. A participating IHSs may directly transfer licenses to another IHS through the transfer of license tokens and the corresponding license logic.
Aircraft modification marketplace
Methods and systems for managing aircraft modifications. A link to a customer information database is established in response to receiving a launch input for a modification marketplace entered by a user via a graphical user interface. The customer information database includes identification information and customer information associated with the user. A determination is made as to whether the user is authorized to access the modification marketplace using the identification information. A link to an engineering database containing aircraft product information is established in response to a determination that the user is authorized to access the modification marketplace. A selected level of access to the aircraft product information in the engineering database is provided, via the graphical user interface, based on the customer information associated with the user.
