Interference cancellation repeater and operating method thereof
A method of operating a TDD-based interference cancellation repeater, the method comprises setting a compensation gain of a gain compensator differently in an uplink communication period and a downlink communication period, setting an optimal coefficient of an adaptive filter in the uplink communication period and an optimal coefficient of the adaptive filter in the downlink communication period the same, based on the set compensation gain of the gain compensator and removing an interference signal in the uplink communication period or the downlink communication period according to the set optimal coefficient of the adaptive filter.
Device for transporting LoRa frames on a PL network
A device included in a communication system that includes a LoRa endpoint and a LoRa server. Each LoRa frame exchanged between the endpoint and the server has to pass through a meter and a data concentrator included in a first powerline communication network of a system for the automatic management of readings from meters. The meters are attached to at least one data concentrator via the first network. At least one of the meters implements a LoRa gateway that has a communication interface enabling it to exchange LoRa frames with the endpoint. The device is connected to each data concentrator by a second network and to the server by a third network. Each LoRa frame exchanged between the endpoint and the server (1) passes through the device and (2) is encapsulated in a frame according to a frame format that the server will exchange with a LoRa gateway.
Infrastructure equipment, communications devices and methods
A method comprising transmitting signals to one or more communications devices within a radio coverage area provided by infrastructure equipment, the infrastructure equipment forming either part of a non-terrestrial network of a wireless communications network and wherein the radio coverage area forms a spot beam of the non-terrestrial network, or part of a terrestrial network and wherein the radio coverage area is a cell of a terrestrial network, wherein the transmitting the signals includes transmitting signalling information indicating that one or more neighbouring coverage areas to the radio coverage area provided by the infrastructure equipment are either formed by a spot beam of a non-terrestrial network, a spot beam of the non-terrestrial network of which the infrastructure equipment forms part, a cell of a terrestrial network or a cell of the terrestrial network of which the infrastructure equipment forms part.
System for relayed data transmission in a high-speed serial link
A system for transmitting data from a timing controller (TCON) to several source driver integrated circuits (SICs) in a display. The system is suitable for use either with a high data rate or a low data rate to each of the SICs. The TCON provides a serial data stream to a SIC, which either uses all of the received data, if it requires high rate data, or relays a portion, e.g., half, of the data to another SIC, which then does not require a separate direct connection to the TCON.
Communication structures
In some examples, a method for determining a communication structure to communicatively link a set of delivery unmanned aerial vehicles, UAVs, with a base unit, the communication structure defined by a minimum number of communication UAVs positioned relative to a set of delivery routes of the delivery UAVs at multiple transitory static positions, wherein a communication UAV at a transitory static position supports a communication region, comprises determining a subset of delivery UAVs outside of a communication region of a first communication UAV at a first transitory static position, the subset of delivery UAVs representing a number of unsupported delivery UAVs that are not communicatively linked, via the first communication UAV, to the base unit supplementing the number of communication UAVs with a second communication UAV, and selecting a second transitory static position for the second communication UAV, the second transitory static position minimising a metric representing a number of unsupported delivery UAVs.
