Providing and Using Different Update Times for a Resource
20230229422 · 2023-07-20 ·

Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses are described for sending different update times corresponding to a same version of a resource. A computing device may provide a version of a resource in response to requests from a plurality of different devices, and may indicate different update times for the version of the resource. The different update times may be based on times associated with the requests from the plurality of different devices.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SEAMLESSLY REMOTE MONITORING AN AVAILABILITY OF A PUBLISHED REMOTE RESOURCE ON A HOST
20230017884 · 2023-01-19 ·

A method for seamlessly remote monitoring an availability of a published remote resource on a host is disclosed. The method comprises: sending, from a remote monitoring entity, monitoring commands to the host, via a Remote Display Session (RDS) between the remote monitoring entity and the host, the RDS executing on a web page loaded by a headless browser running on the remote monitoring entity; and determining one or more availability parameters that are indicative of the availability of the published remote resource, by the remote monitoring entity, based on results of execution of the monitoring commands by the host.

System and method for testing of automated contact center customer response systems

A system and method for testing of automated contact center customer response systems using a customer response testing system and a real time conversation engine, wherein the customer response testing system generates simulated human queries using persona profiles, sends test cases containing those queries to a contact center under test, and receives and analyzes the responses to determine whether the contact center's automated response systems understand the queries and respond appropriately.

Intelligent export and import of service representations

A computational instance may includes a set of computing devices and a configuration management database (CMDB), wherein the CMDB contains a representation of a service deployed on a managed network, wherein the representation of the service includes metadata, service group membership, and an entry point, and wherein the computational instance is configured to: receive an instruction to export the representation of the service to a file; copy, to a metadata object in the file, the metadata; determine a hierarchical subset of the service groups that are related to the service; write, to one or more service group objects in the file, the hierarchical subset of the service groups; determine, from a list of entry points of the managed network, that the entry point is of the service; and write, to an entry point object in the file, the entry point.

Application generation and integration application generation methods are disclosed. An application generation function includes automatically providing a set of software artifacts to an application developer that may be used as an aid to providing an application with augmented capabilities for an end-user. The augmented capabilities configured to adhere to certain rules regarding certification criteria and requirements of a multi-tenant cloud infrastructure. Generated applications and plug-in capabilities may further be required to meet certification criteria applicable to an application store hosted within a cloud infrastructure.

Creating an entity definition from a file

Processing devices receive a file having entries having data items separated by delimiters. Each data item has an ordinal position. The processing device(s) cause display of a table, having rows and columns, in a graphical user interface. Each data items of a particular entry appears in a respective column of the same row. Each column corresponds to the ordinal position of its respective data item. User input is received designating, for each respective column, a field name and an entity definition component type to which the respective column pertains, and stores for each of the data items of the particular entry a value of an element of an entity definition. The element has the element name designated for the respective column in which the data item appeared, and is associated with an entity definition component having the type designated for the respective column in which the data item appeared.

Method for automatic management capacity and placement for global services

Systems and methods for providing web service instances to support traffic demands for a particular web service in a large-scale distributed system are disclosed. An example method includes determining a peak historical service load for the web service. The service load capacity for each existing web service instance may then be determined. The example method may then calculate the remaining service load after subtracting the sum of the service load capacity of the existing web service instances from the peak historical service load for the web service. The number of web service instances necessary in the large-scale distributed system may be determined based on the remaining service load. The locations of the web service instances may be determined and changes may be applied to the large-scale system based on the number of web service instances necessary in the large-scale distributed system.
