Data processing method, apparatus, and system for combining data for a distributed calculation task in a data center network

A data processing method implemented by a controller includes after receiving a processing request from a specified node carrying identifiers of a plurality of computing nodes configured to execute a specified calculation task, determining a target switching device from switching devices that are configured to connect to the plurality of computing nodes, and separately sending, to the target switching device and the specified node, routing information used to indicate data forwarding paths between the plurality of computing nodes and the target switching device. The target switching device is configured to combine, based on the routing information, data reported by the plurality of computing nodes, and then send combined data to each computing node. The specified node is configured to send the routing information to each computing node, and each computing node may report data to the target switching device based on the routing information.

Filtering advertising of route advertisements based on virtual network identifiers

Network identifiers are extracted from route advertisements. A table associates virtual network identifiers with provider edge devices. When a virtual network identifier extracted from a route advertisement matches a virtual network identifier in the table, the route advertisement is propagated to the provider edge devices associated with that virtual network identifier in the table. The route advertisement is not propagated to provider edge devices not associated with that virtual network identifier in the table.

Routing method and device

The present disclosure provides a routing method and a routing device. The routing method includes: receiving, by an AMF, a first message from an (R)AN, the first message including session-related information and routing information associated with the session-related information; and routing, by the AMF, the session-related information to a relevant SMF in accordance with the routing information. According to the present disclosure, it is able to correctly route the session-related information between the (R)AN and the SMF.

Method and apparatus for propagating network status updates using directional tracking

A method and apparatus for managing network status information in a network, such as a satellite mesh network. A network node receives a network status update, indicative of a change in network conditions, from another node, e.g. via flooding. Based on a direction of travel of the update, content of at least one counter field of the network status update is adjusted. The update is then propagated, or not, based on the counter fields. A counter field may be increased in response to the update travelling in one direction and decreased in response to the update travelling in an opposite direction. Different counter fields may be adjusted in response to the update travelling in different, e.g. orthogonal, directions. The direction can be determined based on which of plural directional communication interfaces received the update.

Router policy system

A router policy server may include a policy engine. The policy engine may receive, from a first router, a request for whether to accept or reject routing information received from a second router and determine whether a policy, associated with the second router, allows the second router to advertise the routing information. The policy engine may further instruct the first router to accept the routing information when the policy allows the second router to advertise the routing information and may instruct the first router to reject the routing information when the policy does not allow the second router to advertise the routing information or when no policy exists for the second router in association with the policy engine.

Information processing apparatus and route setting method

An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to perform a process which includes determining an address available to be set as a source address of a first packet to be transmitted to an apparatus included in a network; identifying one or more relay apparatuses in a communication route from the apparatus to the information processing apparatus; and configuring, for at least one of the identified relay apparatuses, a setting regarding a transfer destination of a second packet whose destination address is the determined address in such a manner that the second packet is transferred toward the information processing apparatus along the communication route.

The disclosed computer-implemented method for preventing tromboning in inter-subnet traffic within data center architectures may include (1) detecting, at a leaf node of a data center, a route advertisement that advertises a route to a spine node of another data center that interfaces with the data center, (2) identifying, at the leaf node, an IP identifier of the spine node included in the route advertisement, (3) determining, at the leaf node, that the route corresponds to the spine node based at least in part on the IP identifier identified in the route advertisement, and then in response to determining that the route corresponds to the spine node, (4) rejecting the route to the spine node at the leaf node such that the leaf node does not learn the route to the spine node. Various other methods, systems, and apparatuses are also disclosed.

SELECTIVE DISTRIBUTION OF ROUTING INFORMATION

A distributed system for collecting and processing packet routing information is provided. A service provider, such as a content delivery network service provider, can maintain multiple Points of Presence (“POPs”). Routing computing devices associated with each POP can forward information about the packet routing information to a packet routing management component. The packet routing component can process the information provided by the various POPs. The packet routing component can then update, or otherwise modify, packet routing information used by one or more of the POPs. Accordingly, the packet routing management component can then selectively distribute the updated or modified packet routing information, including the distribution to all POPs, the targeted distribution to specific POPs and the creation of centrally accessible routing information.
