CLUSTER CAPACITY MANAGEMENT FOR HYPER CONVERGED INFRASTRUCTURE UPDATES
Disclosed are various implementations of cluster capacity management for infrastructure updates. In some examples, cluster hosts for a cluster can be scheduled for an update. A component of a datacenter level resource scheduler can analyze cluster specific resource usage data to identify a cluster scaling decision for the cluster. The datacenter level resource scheduler transmits an indication that the resource scheduler is successfully invoked. Cluster hosts can then be updated.

GENERATING AUTOMATIC BANDWIDTH ADJUSTMENT POLICIES PER LABEL-SWITCHED PATH
A device may identify a plurality of first values associated with network traffic of a label-switched path of a plurality of label-switched paths. The device may determine an adjustment policy based on the plurality of first values. The adjustment policy may include one or more factors associated with a plurality of second values. The plurality of second values may be determined based on the plurality of first values. The device may implement the adjustment policy in association with the label-switched path. A bandwidth reservation of the label-switched path may be adjusted based on the adjustment policy. The adjustment policy may be implemented for fewer than all of the plurality of label-switched paths.
System and method for tag based request context in a cloud infrastructure environment
Systems and methods described herein support tag based request context in a cloud infrastructure environment. Cloud administrators do not generally have the ability to restrict resource usage in existing clouds. Granting a user permission to create resources allows them to create and/or terminate any number of resources up to a predefined account limit. Tags are associated with requests for resources for allowing administrators to restrict a user's handling of resources to the appropriate level by allowing fine-tuned control of access to the resources based on the context of the request for the resources. Request context information of the request is compared against a required credential gate level for permitting handling of resources in a tenancy having the first privilege level classification, and the request is selectively granted based on the request context information matching the first required credential gate level.
MESSAGE PASSING SYSTEM FOR THE ALLOCATION OF RESOURCES IN DATA NETWORKS
Systems and methods for allocating data transmission resources in a data network with a plurality of access points (AP). A first AP sends a discovery message including an identifier of a destination AP to all available neighbor APs of the first AP. The discovery message is forwarded by all APs to other neighbor APs. Each AP adds an identifier to the discovery message to create a list of visited APs for each discovery message. When a discovery message arrives at the destination AP, the destination AP selects a plurality of paths through the data network based on the data carried by the discovery message, and triggers a message passing system to setup resources for a first data transmission class while sending a reservation message the reverse direction through the data network.
System for Managing Data Center Asset Resource Load Balance
A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for performing a data center monitoring and management operation. The data center monitoring and management operation includes: identifying a plurality of asset resources within a data center; monitoring workloads within the data center, the monitoring providing data center workload data, the data center workload data including asset resource utilization data; determining whether certain asset resources are underutilized; presenting a load balance configurator user interface, the load balance configurator user interface enabling allocation of asset resources to target workloads; and, performing a data center asset allocation operation, the data center asset allocation operation reallocating workloads in response to the allocation of asset resources to target workloads.
Efficient inroute (return channel) load balancing scheme of guaranteed QoS traffic mixed with best effort traffic in an oversubscribed satellite network
A method for balancing inroute traffic load that contains both guaranteed QoS and best effort traffic. Hierarchical grouping levels are defined with the lowest level corresponding to inroutes within the system. Certain levels have common symbol rates, modulation rates, or both. When a new terminal requires admission, it is assigned to entries in the different hierarchical levels so that the inroute traffic load across all levels are balanced. Terminals are admitted to inroutes based, in part, on their channel quality indicator. Inroute traffic load can periodically rebalance based on elapsed time or terminal redistribution.
COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM STORING DATA PROCESSING PROGRAM, DATA PROCESSING METHOD, AND DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM
A data processing program causes a processing device, among a plurality of processing devices each executes predetermined processing on received data and outputs a result, to execute a process. The process includes, calculating, in a case where a notification that a resource is increased is received from a first processing device in a group of processing devices at a previous stage of the processing device among the plurality of processing devices, a ratio of an amount of data received from the first processing device to a total amount of data received from each of the group of processing devices, based on an amount of data received from each of the group of processing devices within a predetermined period, and determining whether or not to increase a resource of the processing device based on the calculated ratio and resource usage of the processing device.
