Hot-swappable no cable touch switch enclosure
A system for hot swapping a network switch without disconnecting the network switch connectors is provided. The system disaggregates the switch faceplate network cable connectors from the internal components of the network switch so that the internal switch components may be removed from the switch without disconnecting the switch network cables.

Network control system for configuring middleboxes
Some embodiments provide a method for configuring a logical middlebox in a hosting system that includes a set of nodes. The logical middlebox is part of a logical network that includes a set of logical forwarding elements that connect a set of end machines. The method receives a set of configuration data for the logical middlebox. The method uses a stored set of tables describing physical locations of the end machines to identify a set of nodes at which to implement the logical middlebox. The method provides the logical middlebox configuration for distribution to the identified nodes.
NETWORK RELAY APPARATUS, GATEWAY REDUNDANCY SYSTEM, PROGRAM, AND REDUNDANCY METHOD
A network relay device of a gateway redundancy system is provided with: a storage unit which stores, as an internal status, a redundancy status indicating, for each subscriber terminal or for each subscriber terminal group, whether a subject device is operating as an active system or a backup system, and a subscriber status indicating a list of usage address information for each subscriber terminal; and a management unit which monitors communications between a set of subscriber terminals and another network relay device in which a redundant configuration is adopted, records in the storage unit, as a part of the subscriber status, the usage address information provided to the subscriber terminal by the other network relay device, and, with a prescribed timing, successively notifies/advertises the successively recorded internal status to a notification destination.
Connectors for a networking device with orthogonal switch bars
Connectors for a networking device may be provided. A networking device may comprise a first plurality of switch bars each comprising a first switch type arranged parallel to one another, a second plurality of switch bars each comprising a second switch type arranged parallel to one another, and a third plurality of switch bars each comprising a third switch type arranged parallel to one another. The first plurality of switch bars, the second plurality of switch bars, and the third plurality of switch bars may be arranged orthogonally. A first one of the first plurality of switch bars may be connected to a first one of the second plurality of switch bars via a retractable mechanical connector mechanism.

Pseudo channel hopping in mesh networks without time synchronization
A method for pseudo channel hopping in a node of a wireless mesh network is provided that includes scanning each channel of a plurality of channels used for packet transmission by the node, wherein each channel is scanned for a scan dwell time associated with the channel, updating statistics for each channel based on packets received by the node during the scanning of the channel, and selecting a channel of the plurality of channels for scanning based on the statistics when the scan dwell time of a currently scanned channel ends.
Multicast network and memory transfer optimizations for neural network hardware acceleration
In one embodiment, a system to deterministically transfer partitions of contiguous computer readable data in constant time includes a computer readable memory and a modulo address generator. The computer readable memory is organized into D banks, to contain contiguous data including a plurality of data elements of size M which are constituent data elements of a vector with N data elements, the data elements to start at an offset address O. The modulo address generator is to generate the addresses of the data elements of a vector with i data elements stored in the computer readable memory, the modulo address generator including at least one forward permutaton to permute data elements with addresses of the form O+M*i where 0<=i<N. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Configuration for multi-stage network fabrics
A method includes deploying a network device within a fabric having a management network by attaching the network device through the management network to a port of a role allocator, wherein the role allocator includes one or more ports designated as first level port connections and one or more other ports designated as second level port connections. If the deployed network device is attached to one of the ports designated as first level port connections, the deployed network device is configured as a first level device. If the deployed network device is attached to one of the ports designated as second level port connections, the deployed network device is configured as a second level device.
INPUT/OUTPUT SWITCH AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
An aspect of the present invention provides an input/output switch including: a plurality of virtual switches formed by asymmetrically divided switches with symmetrically aligned ports; and ports on a side of end points and ports on a side of an intermediate switch allocated for each of the virtual switches, in which some of the ports of the virtual switches on the side of the end points act as ports that form a path that returns traffic among the virtual switches.
