Flow-based local egress in a multisite datacenter
A method for a hypervisor to implement flow-based local egress in a multisite datacenter is disclosed. The method comprises: determining whether a first data packet of a first data flow has been received. If the first data packet has been received, then the hypervisor determines a MAC address of a first local gateway in a first site of a multisite datacenter that communicated the first data packet, and stores the MAC address of the first local gateway and a 5-tuple for the first data flow. Upon determining that a response for the first data flow has been received, the hypervisor determines whether the response includes the MAC address of the first local gateway. If the response includes a MAC address of another local gateway, then the hypervisor replaces, in the response, the MAC address of another local gateway with the MAC address of the first local gateway.
Mobile-to-Mobile BGP IP Routing
A mobile-to-mobile peering (M2MP) network is formed by connecting mobile stations (MS's) through peer-to-peer communication and multi-hop routing. Each MS is connectable to a radio access network (RAN) that connects to the Internet, and can function as a border gateway protocol (BGP) router, realizing IP packet communication between each MS and the Internet through the M2MP network and the RAN. Each MS uses a public IP address to directly access the Internet. A combination of using the public IP address and functioning as the BGP router enables each MS to run real-time interactive Internet applications through the M2MP network and the RAN. A MS may be implemented with a public IP server for providing Internet application services to any MS in the M2MP network, maintaining provision of these services to the MS's even if all the MS's cannot connect to the Internet.
BI-DIRECTIONAL CBRS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM AND METHODS
Efficient two-way communications using broadband cellular technology is provided by adapting cellular components for end-to-end Internet Protocol (IP) addressable traffic. In this manner, the broadband cellular system may be efficiently transfer data over a flat network architecture using end-to-end IP traffic, bypassing features such as network address translation (NAT), tunnelling, and other LTE cellular carrier features.
Method and apparatus for providing mobile IP service through a network address translation gateway
Method and apparatus for providing Mobile internet protocol (IP) service through a network address translation gateway. In one example, a gateway between a local area network (LAN) and a wide area network (WAN) is provided. A foreign agent (FA) module is configured to advertise a care-of address (CoA) on the LAN and process registration and mobile IP communication traffic on the LAN and the WAN side of the gateway. A control module is configured to identify the registration and the mobile IP communication traffic on the LAN and the WAN. The control module sends mobile IP traffic to the FA and other traffic to a network address translation (NAT) module. In this manner, network address translation of mobile IP traffic is advantageously omitted. This allows the IP-in-IP tunnels used by mobile IP to pass through the gateway.
Communication system, address notification apparatus, communication control apparatus, terminal, communication method, and program
A communication system including a first address notification apparatus provided in a first communication network, and a second address notification apparatus provided in a second communication network, wherein the first address notification apparatus includes means that receives an address request from a terminal that can communicate with the first address notification apparatus and with the second address notification apparatus, obtains a source address from the address request, and transmits a response including the source address to the terminal, and the second address notification apparatus includes means that receives an address request from the terminal, obtains a source address from the address request, and transmits a response including the source address to the terminal.

Method for applying TCP/IP protocol in mesh network
Disclosed is a method for applying a TCP/IP protocol in a mesh network, comprising: constructing protocol stack models of a root node and one or more ordinary nodes in the mesh network; the root node using a custom IE in a management frame to share an IP configuration acquired by itself from a router, a MAC address of itself, and a MAC address of the router with the ordinary nodes; each ordinary node adopting a static IP configuration mode to set its IP configuration as that of the root node; the root node acquiring a port range available for each ordinary node; and each node in the mesh network communicating with an external IP network over a TCP/IP protocol stack. In the invention, when an IP datagram is forwarded in the mesh network, there is no need to perform layer-by-layer NAT, and no need to recalculate a checksum of the IP datagram when it reaches the root node, thereby greatly improving network communication efficiency.
