PRIVATE NETWORK ACCESS

A method is disclosed including establishing a browser session in response to receiving a request from a browser application in a public network. The browser session is assigned to a dedicated network service running in a dedicated network name space. Requests received from the browser application are proxied to a dedicated network service. A local web session in the dedicated network service authenticates a user of the browser application for access to at least one private webservice. A security client in the dedicated network service establishes a networking tunnel between the proxy and a remote gateway to the private network, thereby obtaining network access to the private webservice from the dedicated network name space. Within the dedicated network name space, proxied requests addressing the private webservice are forwarded over the networking tunnel to the private network.

Region-based bridging of calls using client-specific control and revised caller identifiers

Apparatus and methods are disclosed for client-based control of revising caller identifications (IDs) for communications between a private network and a public network. An apparatus including a telecommunications-providing server and processing circuit that communicates client-specific sets of data over an interface protocol. The telecommunications-providing server revises a caller ID for a VoIP call based on the client-specific sets of data, an identifier that corresponds to a requesting endpoint, and a geographic region determined from the call request. Further, the telecommunications-providing server causes control data to be sent to activate an analog-telephone bridging circuit and redirect the VoIP call by obtaining a dial tone and passes at least a subset of the data packet through the analog-telephone bridging circuit for connecting over the local line. The subset of the data packet includes the revised caller ID which is a local number identified by the determined geographic region.

A network system that facilitates financial transactions. A software defined network may operate to provide a variety of trading related services to a variety of customers with a low latency. Core or processor affinity for routing processes may improve speeds of routing. Data capture through a shared memory space may allow for a variety of analytics without introducing unacceptable delay.

Methods and systems for network address translation (NAT) traversal using a meet-in-the-middle proxy

Systems and methods for bypassing firewalls using a server management protocol is provided. In various embodiments, a proxy component serves as a “man-in-the-middle” between an edge client and a server client. The proxy component can receive a server connection request from the edge client to connect to a requested server client using a managed network name associated with the server client. The proxy component can establish a proxy connection with the requested server client, and routing data packets between the server client and the edge client. The edge client and the server client are connected without the public advertisement of the private addresses of the edge client and the server client.

Region-based redirection and bridging of calls

Apparatus and methods are disclosed for bridging communications between a private network and a public network. A mapping that associates a first set of IP addresses of endpoints in the private network with a second set of IP addresses of endpoints in the public network is provided which enables communications between the private network and public network for network-address-translation (NAT). In response to a data packet having a first IP address of the first set of IP addresses, the data packet is used to determine whether the local line should be accessed. In response to an indication that the local line should be accessed, the identifier among the second set of IP addresses may be used to activate bridging (e.g., ATB) circuit and redirect a call associated with the data packet by passing the data packet through the ATB circuit.
