COMMUNICATIONS RECORDING
There is provided a method, and application server for enabling recording of communications transmitted via an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem Network. A call request is received from a first party to call a second party and a database, comprising a plurality of subscriber profiles, is queried to obtain subscriber configuration data relating to at least one of the first party and the second party. Based on the subscriber configuration data, media streams are caused to be transmitted between the first party and a Media Resource Function, between the second party and the Media Resource Function, and from the Media Resource Function to a recording device to record at least part of a call between the first and second party. A communications network and a user device are also provided.
Method for implementing IP multimedia subsystem registration
A method for implementing an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) registration, includes: a Home Subscriber Server (HSS) recording a current registration state of a User Equipment (UE) in response to receiving a Multimedia Authentication Request (MAR) initiated by a Service Call Session Control Function (S-CSCF) selected for the UE when a first Register request is sent by the UE; in response to receiving a second Register request initiated by an Interrogating Call Session Control Function (I-CSCF), the HSS sends the S-CSCF Name to the I-CSCF when the current registration state of the UE is an assigned S-CSCF state. By the scheme, a same S-CSCF is ensured to be used in the two User Authentication Request/User Authentication Answer (UAR/UAA) procedures of the initial IMS registration procedure, and the initial IMS registration of the UE is implemented successfully.

System for providing contact center services in integrated way
Disclosed is a system for providing contact center services in an integrated way, in which a client can receive query processing services by immediately connecting to at least one of other contact center servers operated by service providers cooperating in a link service by a call transfer without changing a preexisting connection state while being initially connected to a specific contact center server, so that a user can use a plurality of query processing services without difficulties by linking the contact center servers operated by the plurality of service providers, thereby minimizing the time, efforts and costs of the user who wants to receive the plurality of query processing services through the plurality of service providers.

Systems and methods for next generation mobile network optimized media path selection
A network device receives a first message that includes an identifier (ID) of a first User Plane Function (UPF), serving a first device, in a wireless network, where the first message invites a second device to engage in a session with the first device and where the first UPF supports packet routing and forwarding within the wireless network. The network device extracts the ID of the first UPF from the first message and determines a closest media resource function (MRF) to the first UPF, where the MRF processes and routes media streams between devices. The network device assigns the determined MRF as an anchor, in a network path between the first device and the second device, for processing and routing of media streamed between the first device and the second device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTING AND RECEIVING FAX TRANSMISSIONS VIA A DATA CONNECTION THAT IS OWNED BY A SERVICE PROVIDER
Methods and systems are described for distributing and receiving fax transmissions via a data connection that is owned by a service provider. In one embodiment, a fax server receives a signaling protocol invite from a telephone service provider in response to the telephone service provider receiving, over a circuit switched network and from a source device, an incoming call signal to a fax telephone number of the service provider. The server responds to the invite by establishing a data connection based on the signaling protocol with the telephone service provider, where the data connection is owned by the service provider. The server receives an incoming fax message that is in a fax format and is routed by the telephone service provider as the source device transmits the incoming fax message. The server transmits the fax message to a destination address.

Hybrid media recording
Systems and methods relating to presenting media content are disclosed. According to an example method, media data comprising a first media content segment is received. The first media content segment comprises first audio data received via the first user device and first video data received via the first user device, and is encoded according to a first set of encoding parameters. A fault is detected in the first media content segment. Detecting the fault comprises determining a quality value of the first media content segment, and determining whether the quality value exceeds a threshold. A second media content segment is received. The second media content segment comprises second audio data and second video data, and is encoded according to a second set of encoding parameters. The first media content segment is replaced with the second media content segment in the media data. Replacing the first media content segment with the second media content segment comprises synchronizing a first time of the second media content segment to a corresponding first time of the first media content segment, and trimming a length of the second media content segment to a length of the first media content segment.
System and methods for improving interaction routing performance
An interaction router includes a computerized server executing a routing engine stored on a machine-readable medium, an interface at the server receiving information from an interaction switching element, the information regarding an interaction received at the switching element to be routed, an interface at the server to a wide area network (WAN), a function of the routing engine judging if one or more business-logic determinations are to be made to select a routing destination for the interaction, and a function for controlling the switch to route the interaction. If if one or more business-logic determinations are to be made, the routing engine requests the business-logic determination from a remote server over the WAN, and upon receiving the determination from the remote server, uses the determination in controlling the switching element to route the interaction.
