CALL SWITCHING METHOD AND APPARATUS, STORAGE MEDIUM AND MOBILE TERMINAL

A call switching method and apparatus, a storage medium and a mobile terminal. The method comprises: when a first call module receives a call request of a first call type, triggering a second call module to query whether a call of a second call type is being executed; if a call of the second call type is currently being executed, the first call module generating prompt information; and when a first user instruction of a user is detected, switching the current call from the call of the second call type to a call of the first call type.

Content player performance detection

A method for monitoring and correcting playback performance for content player. The method includes detecting a content player request from a media player on a user device, the content player request corresponding to a content item request from a server, generating a playback identifier including data corresponding to the content item, detecting one or more playback events occurring during playback of the content by the content player, generating one or more playback packets including the playback identifier, a packet identifier, and the one or more playback events, and transmitting the one or more playback packets to a server.

VIDEO CALL SWITCHING METHOD, STORAGE MEDIUM AND TERMINAL

Disclosed are a video call switching method, a storage medium and a terminal. The method comprises: upon receiving a video call request initiated by a caller terminal and in a video call state, acquiring a first communication type of the current video call and a second communication type of a video call initiated by the caller terminal; if the first communication type is different from the second communication type, giving a prompt of the video call request initiated by the caller terminal; and when a response operation for the video call request is received, switching the current video call to the video call of the second communication type.

Frictionless handoff of audio content playing using overlaid ultrasonic codes

In a frictionless handoff of audio content playing, a client device listens for ultrasonic audio. The client hears a playing of a modified audio content by another client device, which includes audio content and an ultrasonic audio quick response (QR) code overlaid on the audio content. The ultrasonic audio QR code includes location information corresponding to a location in the audio content. The client device extracts the ultrasonic audio QR code from the modified audio content. After determining that the playing of the modified audio content has stopped, the client device receives a command to resume playing of the audio content on the client device. In, response to the command, the client device retrieves location information in a last extracted ultrasonic audio QR code and plays the audio content starting at a location in the audio content corresponding to the location information in the last extracted ultrasonic audio QR code.

Communication terminal, communication system, communication method, and display method

A communication terminal includes a memory and circuitry. The memory stores, for each image type information indicating a type of image data, sizes of a plurality of display areas, each display area being a divided area divided from an entire area displayable by a display, in association with required resolutions of image data to be displayed in the corresponding display areas. The circuitry receives, from a communication management system, specific image type information indicating a type of specific image data transmitted from other communication terminal. The circuitry transmits, to the communication management system, specific required resolution, which is a resolution stored in the memory for the specific image type information in association with the size of one of the display areas in which the specific image data is to be displayed.

Methods, systems, and devices for presenting background and overlay indicia in a videoconference

A conferencing system terminal device includes a communication device receiving one or more videoconference feeds depicting one or more subjects engaged in a videoconference from one or more remote electronic devices. The conferencing system terminal device includes a contextual information extraction engine extracting contextual information of the videoconference from the one or more videoconference feeds. One or more processors automatically apply overlay indicia generated from the contextual information to at least one videoconference feed during the videoconference. A display presents the at least one videoconference feed after the overlay indicia is applied.

Method and apparatus for automatically creating mirrored views of the video feed of meeting participants in breakout rooms or conversation groups during a videoconferencing session

A mirrored gallery view is provided of a breakout room in an online meeting user interface associated with a videoconferencing session with a session view established in a videoconferencing system. The mirrored gallery view displays video feeds of meeting participants on their respective participant computers. The video feeds are camera-captured views of each of the meeting participants, The videoconferencing system creates a breakout room within the videoconferencing session for a subset of the meeting participants, thereby allowing the subset of the meeting participants to engage with one another within the breakout room during the videoconferencing session. A video processor automatically creates mirrored views of the video feed of each of the subset of meeting participants in the breakout room whose video feed in the videoconferencing session is not currently mirrored. The videoconferencing system generates instructions for a gallery view of the breakout room in the online meeting user interface using only mirrored views of the video feeds of the subset of meeting participants in the breakout room, including the mirrored views created by the video processor, and transmits instructions to display the gallery view of the breakout room in the online meeting user interface to all meeting participants in the breakout room on their respective participant computers. In this manner, all of the meeting participants in the breakout room are displayed as mirrored views of their respective video feeds. A similar process occurs with conversation groups in a virtual space view in an online meeting user interface associated with a videoconferencing session established in a videoconferencing system.
