Ad hoc decentralized cloud infrastructure
Technologies for establishing and utilizing a decentralized cloud infrastructure using a plurality of mobile computing devices include broadcasting for the formation of the decentralized cloud computing and storage infrastructure and establishing wireless communications between the plurality of mobile computing devices. The plurality of mobile computing devices self-organize and cooperate with one another to establish a structured decentralized cloud infrastructure to expose and sharing resources, services, and/or applications for ad hoc or socially-driven decentralized, cloud computing purposes.
Communication apparatus, control method, and recording medium
A communication apparatus includes a first communication unit for unencrypted communication compliant with a first standard for communication, and a second communication unit for encrypted communication compliant with a second standard for communication, In a case where connection information used for the second communication unit to perform encrypted communication with an external apparatus has been received from the external apparatus via the first communication unit, a control unit records the connection information on a recording medium. In a case where connection with the external apparatus has been established via the first communication unit, the control unit determines whether the connection information is currently recorded on the recording medium, and, in a case where it has been determined that the connection information is not currently recorded on the recording medium, the control unit causes a notification unit to issue a notification indicating that the connection information is not currently recorded.
FILE DELIVERY METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a file delivery method. The file delivery method includes receiving a task request for a file delivery task sent by a target node to request a file; determining according to the task request whether there are completed nodes, the completed nodes being other target nodes that have completed a file delivery task delivering the file; designating, if there are completed nodes, a node from the completed nodes as a source station corresponding to the task request; designating, if there are no completed nodes, a source server as the source station corresponding to the task request; and delivering the file to the target node through the designated source station.
COLLECTION FOLDER FOR COLLECTING FILE SUBMISSIONS
A content management system for collecting files from one or more authenticated submitters in a collection folder. A collector, who generates the collection folder, can invite one or more submitters to submit one or more files to the collection folder. The one or more submitters have limited rights to the collection folder. The limited rights can include uploading rights and prohibiting a submitter from viewing files that other submitters associated with the collection folder submitted. Thus, the collection folder is able to store files from the one or more submitters, but prevent them from viewing other's submissions.
COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PROCESSING STEPS OF A DISTRIBUTED SYSTEM
A method of controlling and coordinating of processing steps in a distributed system can be implemented by an initiator node of a cyclically-ordered set of nodes participating in a blockchain network (e.g., Bitcoin blockchain). The method includes generating a private key and cryptographic shares thereof for the nodes of the set and distributing them. A locking value is determined based on the shares and a transaction is arranged to transmit control of a resource responsive to supply of a corresponding unlocking value. A circuit of transactions amongst the nodes each arranged to transmit control of a resource responsive to supply of an unlocking value corresponding to a locking value determined based on the share distributed to a first node of one of two adjacent nodes and a value received from another node immediately previous to it is prepared. The initiator node may belong to a cyclically-ordered set of initiator nodes.
Synchronization cache seeding
Synchronization metadata is read from non-volatile storage. The synchronization metadata comprises indications of one or more synchronization targets. A synchronization target is a node of a clustered storage system. A synchronization cache is populated with the synchronization metadata. After populating the synchronization cache with at least a portion of the synchronization metadata, a connection to a network is established. After the connection to the network is established, a connection to a first of the one or more synchronization targets is established.
SYSTEM FOR TRIGGERING RESOURCE CHANNEL MAPPING FOR DYNAMIC AUTHENTICATION
Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for triggering resource channel mapping for dynamic authentication. The present invention is configured to receive, from a user input device, a request from a user to access resources via a first resource channel; retrieve information associated with the user; query a resource channel repository using the information associated with the user; retrieve, from the resource channel repository, information associated with a second resource channel based on at least the query, wherein the second resource channel is associated with the user; in response, automatically trigger a resource channel mapping engine; map, using the resource channel mapping engine, the second resource channel and the first resource channel; and in response, authorize the request to access the resources via the first resource channel.
Method and apparatus for recovering missing data in multi-source hybrid overlay network
In a multi-source hybrid overlay network including a plurality of peers, an apparatus that recovers missing data occurring in a tree recovery process, acquires data that a peer does not have in a pull method through exchanging buffer maps with a first counterpart peer connected to a primary path recovered in the tree recovery process and at least one second counterpart peer connected to at least one candidate path, and provides data that the first counterpart peer does not have to the first counterpart peer in the push method, when a data recovery policy is a pull method, is provided.
Path selection for content delivery network
In a method of operating a content delivery network having a plurality of content caches to deliver requested content to at least one user device, the user device has one or more access network interfaces for connection to content caches of the content delivery network via one or more respective access networks, and the method is performed by a content delivery route decision function running on the user device and interfacing with the content delivery network and the access networks.
System, method and apparatus having a redundant cluster for processing data
Disclosed are a data processing system, a method and an apparatus. The system includes: a first client, a data synchronization terminal, and a second client. The first client is configured to send data indicated by a data sending instruction to a first server cluster in a first server cluster group. The data synchronization terminal is configured to synchronize data in the first server cluster of the first server cluster group to a second server cluster in a second server cluster group. The second client is configured to acquire data from a target second server cluster; determine, in response to that transmission of data with location information currently being acquired from the target second server cluster is interrupted, target second location information from a predetermined target second location information group; and continue to acquire data from the storage location indicated by the target second location information.
