COMMUNICATION USING VIRTUAL NUMBERS
Examples disclosed herein involve receiving a request from a calling device to establish a communication session between a mobile device and the calling device, the mobile device assigned a virtual telephone number, retrieving location information corresponding to a location of the mobile device from a location register, and sending a redirect to a session border controller (SBC) to establish the communication session between the calling device and the mobile device based on the location information.
IP NETWORK COMMON LINE LINK SETTING DEVICE, IP NETWORK COMMON LINE LINK SETTING METHOD, IP NETWORK COMMON LINE LINK SETTING PROGRAM,AND IP NETWORK COMMON LINE LINK SETTING SYSTEM
To achieve, when a common-channel signal of a public switched telephone network is connected to an IP network, the automation of the operation of allocating logical links for accommodating the common-channel signal, and thus increase the efficiency of the operation of a continuity test and the like. A link management device with a special function is connected to the IP network, and the link management device controls a process of establishing a link between an IP converter device and a signal transfer point (IP-STP). The IP converter device transmits a request including a point code to the link management device, and the link management device determines the IP address and the like of the signal transfer point as a connection destination from the received point code. The link management device transmits information for identifying the signal transfer point to the IP converter device, and also transmits information for identifying the IP converter device to the signal transfer point as the connection destination. The port number of the IP converter device is determined by the link management device or the IP converter device. The port number of the signal transfer point is determined by the link management device or the signal transfer point.

Plug-in network device
A plug-in network device is disclosed. The plug-in network device can be used in association with a network management system and an infrastructure network device. The plug-in network device includes two antenna arrays, one of which is up-facing and one of which is front-facing. The plug-in network device can achieve wireless communication with the infrastructure network device via the up-facing antenna array and provide network services to wireless stations through the front-facing antenna array. The network management system can manage both the infrastructure network device and the plug-in network device.
GATEWAYING OF CONFERENCE CALLS TO BROWSER-BASED CONFERENCES
Systems and methods for interconnecting point-to-point (P2P) (i.e. SIP/H323) and web browser compatible video conferencing services. The conference platform gatewaying service may use a virtual web browser participant to send and/or receive video and/or audio over VoIP/Video standards, such as SIP/H323 or other point-to-point protocols into a web browser compatible conference by means of a virtual web browser participant. The conference platform gateway service may create a binding between a SIP address and a web meeting URL. When communication is initiated from a compatible peer device to the gateway/server by means of a point-to-point protocol, the gateway/server establishes a connection to the web-based conference using the binding between URI and URL, and establishes a connection between the Point-to-point and Web browser compatible meeting service.
Multiplex device, robot, and method for switching connection of multiplex device
A multiplex device including a multiplex connecting section connected to a movable side multiplex device, the multiplex connecting section being configured to transmit a position signal outputted from a position signal output section connected to the movable side multiplex device by multiplexing communication with the movable side multiplex device; an amplifier connecting section connected to a position signal output section amplifier, the amplifier being configured to transmit the position signal to the position signal output section amplifier; a measuring device connecting section connected to a position signal measuring device; and a switching section configured to switch from a connection between the multiplex connecting section and the position signal output section amplifier, and a connection between the multiplex connecting section and the position signal measuring device in accordance with detection of a connection between the measuring device connecting section and the position signal measuring device.

FIRE SYSTEM INTEROPERABILITY PROTOCOL
A method and emergency system for performing a system interoperability protocol. A method may include discovering, at a first interoperability node of a first network including a first plurality of network nodes, and a second interoperability node of a second network including a second plurality of network nodes, the first network is different from the second network; and performing a protocol version compatibility check between the first interoperability node and the second interoperability node responsive to discovering the second interoperability node. The method can also include performing a function availability check of the second interoperability node responsive to the protocol version compatibility check; and providing interoperability functions to the second interoperability node.
