A cooling apparatus according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a cooling fan and a duct portion. The cooling fan is provided on a back surface of a mobile terminal that includes a display surface and the back surface situated opposite to the display surface. The duct portion is used to blow, to the display surface, air supplied from the cooling fan.
