The retaining member is configured to couple the objective portion to the sensor portion when the objective and sensor portions are aligned and also when the objective portion is separated from the sensor portion.
SPLIT-CAMERA AUTOALIGNMENT
An electronic device comprises a camera and a retaining member. The camera includes an objective portion configured to collect light from a subject, a sensor portion reversibly separable from the objective portion, an alignment-sensing system configured to sense a state of alignment between the objective portion and the sensor portion, an actuator configured to move the objective or sensor portion, and a computer configured to control the actuator responsive to output of the alignment-sensing system, so as to bring the objective and sensor portions into alignment. The retaining member is configured to couple the objective portion to the sensor portion when the objective and sensor portions are aligned and when the objective portion is separated from the sensor portion.
Electronic Devices With Flexible Display Cover Layers
An electronic device may have a hinge that allows the device to be flexed about a bend axis. A display may span the bend axis. To facilitate bending about the bend axis without damage, the display may include a display cover layer with a flexible portion. The flexible portion of the display cover layer may be interposed between first and second rigid portions of the display cover layer. The display cover layer may also include a layer with self-healing properties. The layer of self-healing material may be formed across the entire display cover layer or may be formed only in the flexible region of the display cover layer. The display cover layer may include a layer of elastomer in the flexible region of the display cover layer for increased flexibility. Self-healing may be initiated or expedited by externally applied heat, light, electric current, or other type of external stimulus.

An incoming call prompting method includes an electronic device that receives a call request from a contact, and when a flexible screen of the electronic device is in a folded state, the electronic device determines, in response to the call request, a target screen corresponding to the call request, where the target screen is a first screen or a second screen of the flexible screen; the electronic device displays an answer button on the target screen; and the electronic device displays prompt information of the call request on a non-target screen, where the prompt information prompts a user to answer the current call request using the answer button displayed on the target screen.

A method in an electronic device comprises detecting, with one or more sensors, a geometry or geometric form factor of the electronic device. One or more processors then enable, in response to detecting the geometric form factor, a dual content presentation mode of operation allowing presentation of first content on a first display of the electronic device and second content on a second display where the first content and the second content are different.

A mounting apparatus may include: a mounting part on which a part of an external electronic apparatus is mounted; a film part connected to the mounting part; a near field wireless communication module; and a processor, wherein the processor may be configured to: detect a mounting state of the external electronic apparatus; determine whether the mounted external electronic apparatus is an apparatus supporting a holographic mode; and on the basis of the determined result, control to transmit a transmission signal to the external electronic apparatus by using the near field wireless communication module so that the external electronic apparatus outputs a hologram content by using at least a part of a display of the external electronic apparatus, and the hologram content output by the external electronic apparatus can be projected on the film part. Various other embodiments may be possible.
Mobile terminal
A mobile terminal includes a first display system, a second display system, and a foldable support frame. The support frame includes a first support frame, a second support frame, and a bending structure coupled to the first support frame and the second support frame. The first display system and the second display system are separately arranged on two opposite sides of the support frame. The support frame further includes a side frame fixedly coupled to the first support frame or the second support frame. After the first support frame and the second support frame are folded using the bending structure, the side frame is exposed outside an overlapping area of the first support frame and the second support frame. In addition, a sensor component is disposed on the side frame.
