Connectors for mobile electronic devices
A connector can be provided for attaching to a mobile electronic device which can have a cap portion, a protrusion extending distally from a bottom of the cap portion, the protrusion being configured to be attachable to an electronic port of a mobile electronic device. The cap portion can be configured to be sized and shaped so that, when the cap portion is attached to the mobile electronic device, the cap portion extends further in the distal direction along front and rear surfaces of the mobile electronic device than along a proximal surface of the mobile electronic device. A connector can be provided with a cap having a height and a width, the height of the cap being greater than the width of the cap, the cap having a proximal curved surface and a distal curved surface, and a protrusion extending distally from the cap, the protrusion being configured to be insertable within a port of the mobile electronic device such and to resist withdrawal from the port. A connector can be configured to be attachable to a mobile electronic device. The connector can include a cap with a proximal continuously curved surface, and a protrusion extending distally from the cap, the protrusion having front and rear surfaces, the protrusion being configured to be insertable within a port of the mobile electronic device such and to resist withdrawal from the port, wherein at least a majority of the curved surface of the cap is oblique to the front and rear surfaces of the protrusion.
SMARTPHONE HAVING EARPHONE STORAGE UNIT
The present invention relates to a smartphone having an earphone storage unit including: at least one an earphone storage unit formed in a cylindrical shape; and an earphone withdrawing unit for facilitating the withdrawal of an earphone stored in the earphone storage unit, wherein the earphone withdrawing unit includes: a cylinder; a shaft reciprocating in the cylinder; a knock member rotating in response to the shaft whenever the shaft is pressed; and an elastic member pushing the knock member outward in response to the knock member. The cylinder has guide grooves and guide protrusions formed inside the cylinder in a longitudinal direction. The shaft has a moving protrusion moving along the guide groove in response to the guide groove, and sawteeth rotating the knock member in response to the knock member, and is formed to reciprocate in the cylinder.
In order to withdraw the earphone stored in the earphone storage unit, when a user presses the earphone in an earphone insertion direction to a predetermined depth and releases the earphone, the shaft of the earphone withdrawing unit is pushed out so that the earphone is discharged.
CHARGING APPARATUS
A charging apparatus for a handheld electronic device includes a housing configured to removably attach to the handheld electronic device. The housing includes at least one electronic logic board, and an accessory station configured to store and charge at least one accessory item of the handheld electronic device. The electronic logic board includes a coil configured to wirelessly provide or accept power to and from the handheld electronic device. A software installed on the electronic logic board is configured to control a power transfer between at least two of the following: the accessory item, the accessory station, the housing, and the handheld electronic device. The housing includes a magnetic material configured to removably attach to a corresponding magnetic material of the handheld electronic device.
Providing isolation from distractions
An apparatus includes a first interface for connecting to a personal computer, a second interface for connecting to a communications device, a third interface for connecting to a headset, a fourth interface for connecting to a speaker, and a processor in control of each of the interfaces. The processor is configured to route audio associated with a communications session on one of the personal computer or the communications device to the speaker, and in response to a user putting on the headset, re-route the audio to the headset.
Charging and storage system
A storage system includes a protective housing member configured to mate with a handheld electronic device. The protective housing member includes a charging area formed between a surface of the protective housing member and a surface of an accessory item of the handheld electronic device. The charging area is configured to charge the accessory item of the handheld electronic device. The charging area is powered by at last one power component of the protective housing member or at least one power component of the handheld electronic device. The storage system further includes at least one integrated circuit which is either a component of the handheld electronic device or a component of the protective housing member.
MULTIPURPOSE CHARGING APPARATUS
A charging system for a handheld electronic device includes a housing configured to removably attach to the handheld electronic device. The housing includes at least one power source, at least one electronic logic board, and an accessory station configured to store and charge at least one accessory item of the handheld electronic device. The transmitter is mounted on the electronic logic board. The transmitter is configured to transmit power between at least two of the following: the accessory item, the accessory station, the power source, the housing, and the handheld electronic device. A software installed on the electronic logic board is configured to control a power transfer between the accessory item, the accessory station, the power source, the housing, and the handheld electronic device. The housing includes a magnetic material configured to removably attach to a corresponding magnetic material of the handheld electronic device.
AUDIO ADAPTOR AND METHOD
An audio adaptor and method of communication is provided. The audio adaptor includes a first connector for connecting to a source of audio, a second connector for connecting to a telephone, a third connector for connecting to an audio output device, and a microcontroller. The method involves receiving a first audio signal at a line level from the source of audio, receiving a second audio signal at the line level from a telephone, transmitting the first audio signal and the second audio signal at the line level to an audio output device, attenuating the first audio signal from the line level to a microphone level and transmitting the attenuated first audio signal.
