Preventing protective case from turning off screen by mistake on terminal using Hall effect sensor
The present invention provides a terminal control method, a protective case, and a terminal. In the method, a terminal may be disposed with two Hall effect sensors for sensing a change of a magnetic field generated by a magnet in a protective case, and identify a forward snap-fit operation, an opening operation, a backward snap-fit operation, and the like of the protective case. When detecting the forward snap-fit operation of the protective case, the terminal performs a screen off operation; or when detecting the backward snap-fit operation of the protective case, the terminal may skip performing screen off operation. In embodiments of the present invention, the protective case can be prevented from turning off a screen by mistake, so as to improve terminal control accuracy.
METHOD FOR MAKING A CASE FOR A MOBILE DEVICE WITH A SCREEN
A method of making a case for a mobile device with a screen. The method comprising 3D printing of the case in a partially finished form on a support surface in a configuration in which rear wall (1) and sidewalls (2-5) lie alongside one another on the surface, and folding the sidewalls up relative to the rear wall to at least partially create a cavity for the device. Separate corner portions (10, 11) may be provided to connect the sidewalls. The invention also extends to a 3D printed blank from which the case is formed.

An electronic device and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes a main body housing, a pop-up module extendable and retractable from the main body housing, and a processor. The processor implements the method, including identifying, by at least one processor, a state where a pop-up module of the electronic device is extended to an external environment of the electronic device, based on receiving a first control signal, maintaining extension of the pop-up, based on receiving a second control signal, retracting the pop-up module into the electronic device, and based on receiving a third control signal indicating that the electronic device is in free fall, retracting the pop-up module into the electronic device.
Intelligent screen protector
An intelligent screen protector is provided. Responsive to the intelligent screen protector being detached from a paired portable computing device, the intelligent screen protector identifies a set of instructions received from the paired portable computing device associated with visually generating an image of a selected smartcard. In accordance with the set of instructions, the intelligent screen protector visually generates the image of the selected smartcard in a transparent display area of the intelligent screen protector. The intelligent screen protector determines whether a transaction associated with the selected smartcard has been initiated. Responsive to the transaction associated with the selected smartcard being initiated, the intelligent screen protector discontinues the visual generation of the image of the selected smartcard in the transparent display area of the intelligent screen protector.
