Sound enhancement device for cell phone
11259113 · 2022-02-22 ·

A sound enhancing device for improving voice reception of a smartphone microphone is attachable to the rear surface of a smartphone opposite the surface of the smartphone having a display. The device has a deflector in a sliding engagement within a cavity of a housing moveable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A reflective curved area positioned on a first surface of the deflector captures and reflects sound waves from the voice of a user toward a microphone of the smartphone.

Audio enhancing apparatus for electronic media devices
09824679 · 2017-11-21 ·

An audio enhancing apparatus for electronic media devices including a support base having a rectangular rear side, an open front side, an open top side, a bottom side perpendicularly disposed to the rear side, and a pair of sidewalls. Each of the pair of sidewalls has a right triangulated bottom portion and an elongated rectangular top portion extended upwards from the bottom portion. Each of a right bracket and a left bracket of a pair of brackets is attached to the top portion of each of a right sidewall and a left sidewall, respectively, of the pair of sidewalls. The pair of brackets is configured to removably secure a bottom section of a portable electronic device within the support base.

Method and apparatus for microscopic imaging

Apparatus and method for facilitating a microscopic imaging of at least one anatomical structure can be provided. For example, with a spectrally-encoded confocal microscopy (SECM) system, it is possible to provide at least one first electro-magnetic radiation to the anatomical structure(s). In addition, a mobile device can be provided which can communicate with the SECM system. The mobile device can have a sensor arrangement, and with such sensor arrangement, it is possible to receive at least one second electro-magnetic radiation that is based on the first radiation(s) from at least one section of the SECM system. The mobile device can further include a computer arrangement, with which it is possible to display at least one portion of the anatomical structure(s) as a microscopic image based on the second radiation(s) received by the sensor arrangement.

Lens selector
11719998 · 2023-08-08 ·

A lens selector for selectively exposing one camera lens and covering other camera lenses of a cell phone or the like is shown and described. The lens selector comprises a base which grips the cell phone and a lens cover movable between two or more positions. The lens cover may slide along the base when moving between positions. An arm resiliently biased into an engaged positions may lock the lens cover into a selected position on the base. The lens selector may substantially cover that side of the cell phone having lenses, and may grip edges of the cell phone. The lens selector may include a socket for centering an associated cell phone with respect to an optical device such as a spotting scope, so that the cell phone may capture images visible through the scope.
