RESCUE SYSTEM
In emergency or search-and-rescue operations, user devices such as phones may transmit signals that indicate people may be located nearby. The signals can be detected by one or more rover devices, which can explore dangerous terrain for indications of people to be rescued. The user devices can activate an application that conserves battery power while emitting a signal, in some cases in a round robin configuration to further conserve power. The rover devices, or other devices that make contact with the user devices, can collect and manipulate data about the user devices to aid a rescue operation.

Terminal screen-on/off control method and apparatus, and terminal
A terminal screen-on/off control method includes receiving an operation instruction that is sent by a user by using a first terminal; if the operation instruction meets a preset condition, determining a current state of a screen of a second terminal, and if the current state of the screen is on, controlling the second terminal to turn off the screen; or if the current state of the screen is off, controlling the second terminal to turn on the screen. The preset condition is used to determine whether the second terminal is to turn the screen on/off. The first terminal can be directly used to control the second terminal to turn the screen on/off. This operation is very simple.

Advanced graphics power state management
Methods and apparatus relating to advanced graphics Power State management are described. In one embodiment, measurement logic detects information about idle transitions and active transitions of a power-well of a processor. In turn, determination logic determines performance loss and/or energy gain based at least in part on the detected information and power-on latency of the power-well of the processor. Other embodiments are also disclosed and claimed.
Methods and systems for passive wakeup of a user interaction device
The embodiments herein disclose methods and systems for passive wakeup of a user interaction device and configuring a dynamic wakeup time for a user interaction device, a method includes detecting an occurrence of at least one first non-voice event associated with at least one device present in an Internet of Things (IoT) environment. The method includes detecting an occurrence of at least one successive event associated with the at least one device. The method includes estimating a contextual probability of initiating at least one interaction by a user with the user interaction device on detecting the occurrence of at least one of the at least one first event and the at least one successive event. On determining the estimated contextual probability is above a pre-defined threshold value, the method includes configuring the dynamic wakeup time to switch the user interaction device to a passive wakeup state.
Screen Display Control Method and Electronic Device
A method that is performed by an electronic device provided with a foldable screen that is divided into a first area and a second area. When the screen is folded, the first area corresponds to a first sensor, and the second area corresponds to a second sensor. The method includes displaying an interface of a first application in the first area, detecting first user identification information by using the first sensor, storing a correspondence between the first application and the first user identification information, and controlling display in the first area and the second area based on user identification information detected by the first sensor and the second sensor. In the foregoing method, an application is bound to user identification information.

COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, SERVER, AND CONTROL METHOD
A communication apparatus 100 that performs wireless communication maintains, in an inactive state, a firmware update function of acquiring an update file used for a firmware update of the communication apparatus by accessing a server 300, performs transmission processing of transmitting sensor data obtained by a sensor to the server, and activates the firmware update function based on activation information acquired from the server at the time of the transmission processing.
Method for adjusting parameter of audio service and terminal
A method for adjusting a parameter of an audio service and a terminal includes obtaining, by the terminal, first information, where the first information includes at least one of a first battery level or a first temperature, and adjusting, by the terminal, a parameter of an audio service of the terminal when a first condition is met, where the first condition includes one or more of the first battery level is less than a first preset threshold or greater than a second preset threshold, or the first temperature is less than a third preset threshold or greater than a fourth preset threshold.
