Devices, methods, and systems for mass notification
Devices, methods, and systems for mass notification are described herein. One method includes receiving, by an operator station, a selection associated with a particular paging group of a fire network associated with a facility, receiving an audio message by the operator station, and communicating the audio message to the particular paging group according to the selection.
Paging method, apparatus, and system
Disclosed are a paging method, apparatus, and system, used for solving the problems in the prior art of long time lapse and low paging reception reliability in terminals when using an extended DRX cycle to carry out monitoring. The method in the embodiments of this invention comprises: a terminal performs paging reception in an extended paging location within each extended paging cycle; and within at least one extended paging cycle, the terminal performs paging retransmission reception in at least one specific paging location other than the extended paging location. As the terminal performs paging reception at least twice within at least one extended paging cycle, the embodiments of the present invention may improve terminal power-saving and also ensure the time lapse and reliability of paging reception, thereby achieving the aims of assuring user experience and improving system performance.
Wireless notification systems and methods for electronic rodent traps
A remote notification electronic rodent trapping system and method is provided having a plurality of rearming electronic rodent trapping devices configured to wirelessly communicate trap information to a base station that is in communication with a cloud server. When a trap is activated by a rodent trigger it changes from a set state to a kill alert state and initiates a killing cycle. The trap waits a first time period and then sends a notification signal to the base station of trap activation which the base station forwards to the cloud server. The cloud server waits a second predetermined time period before sending a pushed notification to a remote user of the trap's kill alert state. If the trap rearms prior to expiration of the second time period, it alerts the base station which notifies the cloud server. The cloud server updates trap status to the set state and does not send a notification to the user.

Method and apparatus for interfacing analog page party system to internet protocol page party system
An audio bridge unit is provided for connecting a conventional analog page/party station in an analog page/party system to IP-based page/party stations that employ multicast Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology to support page/party communications between analog page/party stations and the VoIP page/party stations. The audio bridge unit converts page and/or party audio line(s) to multicast channel(s). The audio bridge unit analog interfaces for its respective page and/or party lines, and each analog interface is assigned to an independent multicast channel on which it will transmit and receive full duplex audio between an analog page/party station and one or more IP-based page/party stations. The audio bridge unit provides the ability to configure the multicast group, port and Time to Live (TTL) setting for each of the analog channels associated with the page and/or party lines.
CONTROL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM
An environment is provided that allows a user deemed likely to control an electronic device to preferentially control the electronic device (10) without requiring a cumbersome preliminary operation such as assignment of a priority to each user when multiple users remotely control the electronic device (10), using respective control terminals (30). When additional control information is issued from one of the control terminals (30) to the electronic device (10), whether content of the additional control information should be notified to each of the other control terminals (10) is determined on the basis of previous control information, and the content of the additional control information is notified to each of the control terminals for which notification has been determined to be necessary.
PROGRAMMABLE SIGNAL GENERATOR AND RADIO CONTROLLER
A programmable signal generator and radio controller for providing dispatch paging tone out frequencies to first responders and other selected areas. The signal generator is capable of performing tone-outs to various first responders and being cross compatible with prior and future evolutionary systems. The signal generator uses plain-text console interface and plain-text tone-out parameter definitions allowing programming without special software, apps, or Internet connectivity. The signal generator is capable of controlling operational functions of connected radio transceiver equipment including initiating and terminating RF transmission, selecting radio channel or frequency, and monitoring operational status of the transceiver. The signal generator is also capable of interactive communication with external third-party digital radio dispatch console systems via Ethernet network and TCP/IP protocol via an isolated network interoperability interface that implements a simple Application Program Interface (API).
