A web-based, online session system is provided in which a host server manages a multi-participant session. A plurality of participating devices may join the online session using a web-based interface and receive session content (e.g., video, audio, text, graphics, etc.) via the web-based interface. A user of a participating device may dynamically expand its resources/capabilities during an ongoing online session by adding accessory/supporting devices under its own participant account to the session. The added devices may communicate directly with the host server via a separate stream than the participating device. Additionally, the participating device may also transfer its complete participation in the online session to another device via the web-based interface.

The present invention provides a bandwidth-sharing, intelligent network switching system, wherein the system comprises a control processing unit, a network sharing user device, and a network user device. The control processing unit is connected to a third-party payment system, a location search module, a WiFi hotspot search module, bandwidth analysis module, and an authentication module. The control processing unit is further connected to the network sharing user device and the network user device. The network sharing user device shares network access with the network user device via the control processing unit, sets a price for bandwidth, and charges the network user device the price for the shared network access.

Automated guidance for selecting components of an it solution

A computer displays a first set of components available for selection by the customer for an IT solution. The computer receives, from the customer, selection of a first component included in the first set of components. The computer determines that subsequent use of the first component requires a service. The computer identifies and displays a second set of components based on compatibility with the first component and ability to use the same service as the first component. The computer receives selection, from the customer, a second component included in the second set of components. The computer designs the IT solution to (a) include the first component and the second component and (b) share the same service during use of the first component and the second component.
