Subscriber groups of relatively small granularity or individual subscribers may be assigned a profile that sets forth actions to be applied to subscribers in response to the subscribers reaching particular thresholds of data usage.

A system and method for monitoring account usage on a platform that includes creating an account on a platform; assigning a usage model of the account; running an application of the account on the platform; monitoring usage of the application of the account; identifying a usage event of the usage model in the monitored usage; and generating an event response based on the usage event.

A charging function CHF apparatus receives a first charging request sent by a charging trigger function CTF apparatus, where the first charging request carries event charging information. According to the method, the CHF apparatus may determine the first event charging processing mode based on the first charging request, and perform event charging processing. A system and method can allow a first subscriber who is unable to use his mobile device due to theft, damage, loss, or any other reason to authenticate himself on a telecommunications network using a second subscriber's mobile device. A network exposure node receives a reference identity for the network exposure node in a first monitoring message from a first network node. The network exposure node further retrieves, based on the reference identity for the network exposure node, an identity list of one or more subscriber UEs, which subscribed to monitoring of an event, and configuration information for the one or more subscriber UEs, which are stored in the network exposure node.
