A system and method for notifying a called party of a call attempt is provided. The method comprises initiating a communication request by a calling party; routing the communication request to an intelligent network via an mobile service center; validating the communication request by the intelligent network; and handing over the communication request to an intelligent platform by the intelligent network in the event of a nonstandard trigger event such as calling party insufficient balance. The processing of communication request by the intelligent platform includes monitoring number of call attempts, introducing a delay in sending notification, monitoring availability of called party and performing one or more actions based on the delay and the availability of the called party.

This disclosure provides methods, systems, and platforms for automatically prompting a mobile device user to download an application to their mobile device after a triggering event. Triggering events include calling a business, receiving a call from a business, and navigating to a website. In some embodiments, a business can run a targeted campaign to automatically prompt a mobile device user to download an application. In some embodiments, the platform interacts with an application installed on the mobile device. The prompt displayed on the mobile device includes an actionable option to download an application.

The system and method alters the data delivery service plan of a subscriber in response to a network degradation event that negatively affects the subscriber's plan during transportation (e.g. in flight). In response to the subscriber's request, the system and method grants the subscriber access to the in-flight network and/or data during the flight. Additionally, the system and method monitors and detects network degradation events during the flight. If an event occurs that negatively affects the subscribers plan during the flight, the system and method determines a time extension for the subscriber to access the network and/or data based on the duration of the network degradation event. The system and method also modifies the subscriber's plan based on the determined time extension and notifies the subscriber about the network degradation event and plan modification. The plan modification may credit the subscriber additional time, data, and/or services.

A method, system and server for processing low balance data session requests are provided. The server includes a memory storing an account record including an account balance and a count of failed service requests; a network interface; and a processor interconnected with the memory and the network interface. The processor receives a request to access a data service for a mobile device corresponding to the account record; and to determine whether the account balance is sufficient to access the data service. When the account balance is not sufficient, the processor compares the count of failed service requests to a threshold. When the count exceeds the threshold, the processor sends a notification to the mobile device, and when the count does not exceed the threshold, the processor increments the count. The processor also returns a message denying access to the data service.

A charging processing method is provided and includes: obtaining QoS of a guaranteed data service of a user and a guarantee status of the QoS, performing charging processing on charging data of the guaranteed data service based on the information, when the guarantee status of the QoS changes or a guarantee notification switch status of the QoS changes, disabling a counter in a timely manner, and separately processing charging data that exists before the change and charging data that exists after the change. This specification discloses a communication method, and a system. The method includes: receiving, by a first control network element, analysis information of a network data analytics network element NWDA, and generating a policy based on the analysis information; sending, by the first control network element, the policy to a second control network element, where execution of the policy is controlled by the second control network element; receiving, by the first control network element, an execution result of the policy that is sent by the second control network element, and determining, based on the execution result, whether the analysis information is invalid; and sending, by the first control network element, an invalidity notification message to the NWDA when the first control network element determines that the analysis information is invalid, where the invalidity notification message is used to instruct the NWDA to generate new analysis information.

Embodiments manage use of different network connections for data transfer in view of priority information and a data usage plan identifying threshold limits associated with the different network connections. A computing device receives data transfer requests from applications executing on the computing device. The data transfer requests have priority information associated therewith. The computing device compares the priority information with available network connections. One or more of the data transfer requests are selected for initiation based on the comparison and on the threshold limits.
