METHOD TO DYNAMICALLY SELECT A MOBILE OPERATOR SUBSCRIPTION BASED ON THE TERMINAL LOCATION, ON THE RECEIVED SIGNAL STRENGTHS AND ON BUSINESS AGREEMENTS, CORRESPONDING SECURE ELEMENT AND HOME SUBSCRIBER SERVER
Provided is a method for dynamically selecting a mobile subscription for a secure element cooperating with a terminal in a telecommunication system comprising a network visited by the terminal and a HSS of a server The method includes sending from the secure element a random e-IMSI ephemeral IMSI in a first attachment request message to the HSS through the visited network, the visited network having the best received signal and having a roaming agreement with an e-IMSI service provider; and transmitting 101 from the HSS to the secure element in a signaling message a PLMN list of all the local operators having a commercial agreement with the e-IMSI service provider.
MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING A MULTIPLICITY OF MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS CELLS IN A BUILDING OR CAMPUS
A mobile communications transmission system provides a plurality of mobile communications cells in a building or campus. It comprises a first baseband unit and a first gateway device, which is connectable to a data network. At least one transceiver unit is connected to the first baseband unit. The at least one transceiver unit is configured to provide at least one first mobile communications cell. By way of this first mobile communications cell, a subscriber device in the building can exchange information with the data network. A first control device is connected to the first baseband unit and the first gateway device. The first baseband unit and the first gateway device are installed in the building or campus in which the at least one transceiver unit provides the at least one first mobile communications cell, whereas the first control device is accommodated remote therefrom at an operating company.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TRANSFERRING SIM CARD INFORMATION
The present invention discloses methods and systems for transferring SIM card information from a first device to a server. A first SIM card is housed in the first device or in a first modem connected to the first device. When the first device boots up, it identifies the first SIM card and retrieves SIM card information from the first SIM card. The first device then sends authentication information to the first server and requests historical SIM card activity information. Historical SIM card activity information received from the first server is stored in a storage medium, and is used for determining whether to use the first SIM card. The first server performs steps of receiving a first request message from the first device, and determining the SIM card identity specified in the first request message if the first request message is authentic. The first server retrieves and sends historical SIM card activity information of the first SIM card to the first device.
DETECTION OF A DELINQUENT MOBILE DEVICE
A method and system of detecting a delinquent mobile user device. An international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) of a subscriber identity module (SIM) card of the user device is determined by the user device. The IMSI is sent to a Remote Recovery Server (RRS). A message is received from the RRS as to whether the IMSI is authorized for the user device. Upon determining that the IMSI is not authorized for the user device, a notification is displayed on a display of the user device.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS OF USING REMOTE SUBSCRIBER IDENTIFICATION MODULES AT A DEVICE
The present invention discloses methods and systems for communicating at a cellular router between a first wireless communication module and a first subscriber identity module (SIM). The cellular router receives a first request from a first wireless communication module and encapsulates the first request in a first modified request. The cellular router then sends the first modified request to a first SIM card in a first communication apparatus and waits for a first modified reply. While waiting for the first modified reply the cellular router sends at least one halt message to the first wireless communication module after a first time threshold. After receiving the first modified reply, the cellular router decapsulates the first modified reply to retrieve a first reply and sends the first reply to the first wireless communication module where the first modified reply is a reply to the first modified request.
Communication Module, Communication System, and Communication Method
A communication module includes a plurality of communication interfaces that support a plurality of different types of communication interface standards to implement a general-purpose communication module that enables data communication not depending on types of equipment. A plurality of programs to be executed in the communication module include a first app to be executed on an OS (Operating System) and one or a plurality of second apps to be executed on the OS. Each of one or more second apps is an app that performs communication in accordance with one or more types of communication protocol on one or more communication interface standards and is an app that can be arbitrarily installed and arbitrarily uninstalled. The first app is an app as middleware between the OS and the one or the plurality of second apps.
DATA VOLUME EXCHANGE SERVER, INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, DATA VOLUME EXCHANGE METHOD, AND DATA VOLUME EXCHANGE PROGRAM
A data volume exchange server includes a terminal IF unit configured to receive an exchange request for a contract data volume of an own country and a contract data volume of another country from terminals of subscribers having contract data volumes of telecommunication carriers of countries different from each other, a data volume exchange unit configured to perform matching of a pair in which another country that requests a contract data volume in one of the received exchange requests matches the own country that provides a contract data volume in another of the received exchange requests, and a server IF unit configured to instruct the communication servers of the telecommunication carriers in the countries to transfer a contract data volume of a matched subscriber of the own country as an exchanged data volume of a subscriber of the other country who is a matching partner.
Method, device, and system for securing an access to at least one service
In a method for securing access to a service, a device is set in a restricted operation mode that allows addressing only a first server and that is associated with a first identifier relating to a first connectivity gateway. The device accesses the first identifier and a subscription profile that is active during the restricted operation mode. The first server receives from the device a request for enrolling a device user and at least one feature relating to a user identity. The first server verifies whether the user identity feature is valid. If the user identity feature is valid, the first server sends to the device a command for deactivating the restricted operation mode. The device deactivates the restricted operation mode while storing, instead of the first identifier, a second identifier relating to a second connectivity gateway. The second identifier allows accessing a second server that manages the service.
Medical alert device
A medical alert device that may be used to transmit a medical alert over a wireless network. The medical alert device includes a microprocessor for controlling the operation of the device, a data store configured to store the phone number of at least one predetermined call recipient, and a wireless communication module that is connectable to a wireless network. The medical alert device also includes a preprogrammed user actuatable button that is configured to, upon being actuated, initiate the execution of software instructions by the microprocessor to retrieve a phone number stored on the data store. The microprocessor may then connect to the wireless network and establish a communication link with the predetermined call recipient by dialing the phone number. Also disclosed are peripheral devices that may be operatively connected to the medical alert device.
Systems and methods for digital account activation
A method for registering and activating accounts includes: transmitting a first input from a user regarding opening an account at a financial institution; establishing a communication session based on exchanging encryption keys between the user device and the financial computing system; displaying a graphical user interface (GUI) comprising a request for a user verification; transmitting a received user verification to the financial computing system; updating the GUI to display a request to establish a personal identification number (PIN) for a physical payment card associated with the account; receiving the PIN from the user; transmitting a second input comprising the PIN and a request to provision the account to the user device; receiving a payment token associated with the account before the physical payment card associated with the account of the financial computing system is received by the user; and, storing the payment token for transactions via the user device.
