MOBILE TERMINAL
Provided is a mobile terminal including a front case, a display disposed at a front surface of the front case, a rear case disposed to oppose a rear surface of the front case, and a finger scan sensor part coupled to the rear surface of the front case. The finger scan sensor part may be configured to sense at least a portion of light incident after passing through the display and the front case among light reflected by an external object. Other embodiments are implementable.
Cost-efficient fingerprint sensor component and manufacturing method
A method of manufacturing a fingerprint sensor component having a component outline for integration into an electronic device, the method comprising the steps of: providing a fingerprint sensor package having a sensing surface, a connection surface opposite the sensing surface, and sides connecting the sensing surface and the connection surface, the connection surface having connectors for allowing electrical connection of the fingerprint sensor component to the electronic device; arranging the fingerprint sensor package on a temporary carrier with the connection surface facing the temporary carrier; and adding material at least around the sides of the fingerprint sensor package, while leaving the connection surface of the fingerprint sensor package uncovered.

Communication platform
This disclosure relates to a communication system where a user can use a smart phone to scan a tag, such as a QR code, to retrieve a weblink. The weblink is unique and associated with the location of the tag, which may also be the location of an unpersonalised device, such as a video projector or other A/V equipment. Therefore, when the mobile phone connects to the weblink, the webserver can retrieve information associated with this particular unique code. This information is now specific to the location of the tag and may even include information about the unpersonalised device. The operator receives the information when the communication channel is established and therefore knows exactly what the subject of the call will be. Further, the call can be automatically routed to the most appropriate operator without audio menus to be navigated by the user.

Detecting a scan using on-device sensors
The present disclosure is directed towards systems and method for determining whether a scannable code displayed on a client device has been scanned. In particular, the systems and methods described herein involve activating one or more on-board sensors of the client device to capture output signals. Based on the output signals, the systems and methods include identifying discrete signals that indicate whether the scannable code has been scanned by a scanning device. Further, based on an analysis of the identified discrete signals, the systems and methods include determining whether the scannable code has been scanned by the scanning device.
