Devices and methods for multipath communications
Broadband communications devices and methods operate with at least two separate communication paths between the devices and the network, such as the Internet. The broadband devices and methods receive data concurrently over the communication paths or separately. The bandwidth is increased when the separate communication paths are combined. The broadband devices employ packetized data with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technologies combined with RF communications technologies.
REMOTE VERIFICATION OF THE CONDITION OF A MOBILE DEVICE
In various implementations, an acceptable condition of a mobile device may be determined based on a remote verification of a condition of the mobile device, wherein a method to verify the mobile device may comprise a user requesting the verification of the mobile device, the performance of a diagnostic on the mobile device, the reception of a security data object associated with the mobile device by the system, and/or the determination that the mobile device has a security feature either disabled or enabled. When the security feature of the mobile device is enabled or disabled, the system may configure the GUI to direct a user to disable the security feature or the system may configure the GUI to show an acceptable condition when the security feature is disabled.

Devices and methods for multipath communications
The broadband network-edge router is a broadband communications device that receives broadband packetized data and then wirelessly communicates to and from a router located in a typical residence or small business or other device. The broadband network-edge router can be for example, a Wi-Fi device or a cellular device or tower, and routes data to the data-requesting devices during multipath or multilink connections.
Device Management System For Upgrading Telephony Device Firmware
A telephony device includes a memory that stores firmware to operate the telephony device. The telephony device includes a network interface that transmits a first command to establish a connection with a telephony server. The telephony device includes a receiver that receives a second command from a device manager. The second command includes an instruction to upgrade the firmware of the telephony device. The telephony device includes a processor that upgrades the firmware of the telephony device based on the second command. The processor establishes a connection to a virtual meeting room platform based on the upgraded firmware.
Wireless wake-up device for cellular module
A control device may wake-up a target wireless device through a wired or wireless communications channel. In an implementation, the control device and the wireless device may include a cellular module (e.g., global systems for mobile communications (GSM) capability) to implement an on-demand wake-up call. The on-demand wake-up call may allow the control device to perform at least one task at the wireless device without user intervention at the wireless device.
WIRELESS WAKE-UP DEVICE FOR CELLULAR MODULE

In an implementation, the control device and the wireless device may include a cellular module (e.g., global systems for mobile communications (GSM) capability) to implement an on-demand wake-up call. The on-demand wake-up call may allow the control device to perform at least one task at the wireless device without user intervention at the wireless device.
Method and electronic device for upgrading or downgrading system
Disclosed are a method and an electronic device for upgrading or downgrading a system. The method mainly includes: acquiring a system data packet; backing up user data when a data type of the system data packet is determined to be a whole packet type and this system operation is determined to be a system downgrading, wherein the whole packet type indicates that the system data packet is a complete data packet that can be independently used for upgrading or downgrading; and executing the system data packet to implement a system downgrading after the user data are backed up.
