An apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium are provided for accessing data on a phone that is inaccessible. The apparatus includes a memory configured to store a plurality of contact profiles in a contact list corresponding to an inaccessible device, and a processor coupled to the memory. The apparatus receives, from an unknown device over a voice connection, an access identifier corresponding to the inaccessible device and a contact identifier associated with a contact profile of the plurality of contact profiles; identifies the contact list based on matching the access identifier with the inaccessible device; determines a contact device of the contact profile in the contact list corresponding to the contact identifier; and connects, over the voice connection, the unknown device to the contact device corresponding to the contact profile.

A method for facilitating a wireless transaction includes receiving, by a transaction fulfillment system, a transaction request from a transaction requester and verifying an identity of the transaction requester. After verifying the identity of the transaction requester, a transaction code is communicated from the transaction fulfillment system to a wireless communication device. After receiving the transaction code, the transaction code is optically scanned from a visual display of the wireless communication device by the transaction fulfillment system.

One embodiment of the present is a method of implementing privacy control of location information. Such a method comprises defining a geographic zone for which pseudo-location information is to be reported as the current location of the user, wherein the pseudo-location information is not the current location of the user; receiving the current location of the user; determining that the current location is in the geographic zone; and reporting the pseudo-location information as the current location of the user when the current location is determined to be in the geographic zone. Systems and methods of recommending that two people form a link on a social networking system uses activities conducted by a first person on a telephony system to determine the names of individuals and businesses that the first person has communicated with through the telephony system. This list of names and individuals is then compared to the names of individuals and businesses that are members of the social networking system. If the first person is communicating with individuals or businesses who are members of the social networking system, a recommendation that they form a link on the social networking system is issued to one or both parties.
