COGNITIVE CORE NETWORK SELECTION FOR CONFERENCE CALLING

Systems, methods, and computer programming products leveraging cognitive computing and machine learning to dynamically establish circuits within conference calls merging in new callers. The newly established circuits are optimized and established based on location attributes of the new caller and conference call participants, as well as the calling plans and/or costs associated with establishing the circuits to the different conference call participants. New circuits merging in new callers can be prioritized to establish endpoints of the circuit with optimal participants at nearby locations or the same location as the new caller, rather than establishing the endpoints between the new caller and a target participant of the conference call as the default endpoints. Optimized circuits being established between new callers and existing conference call participants can be provisioned entirely within the PSTN of a single service provider or can span across multiple service provider networks.

Dynamically expandable conference call system using active load balancing

Systems and methods for providing a dynamically expandable conference call system using load balancing are described herein. Various examples use a media replication server. The media replication server accesses state information of one or more media control units. The state information is used to instantiate one or more media control unit high availability pairs. The media replication server further replicates media received into the conference call system by transmitting the received media to both an active media control unit and a standby media control unit. The media replication server may make modifications to the media control units handling a conference call to adjust for varying conditions such as a failure of one or more of the media control units or the addition of clients to the conference call.

A hub includes: a multi-function control unit; a microprocessor; at least one sharing port connected to the multi-function control unit, which controls the at least one sharing port to connect with a computing device; a USB audio control unit connected to the multi-function control unit; an audio processing module connected to the USB audio control unit and the microprocessor; a wireless module connected to the audio processing module and the microprocessor and used for wireless communication with a mobile device; and an audio input and output module connected to the audio processing module and the microprocessor, and including an audio cable jack used for connecting with an audio input and output device, and/or a built-in speaker and a microphone. The microprocessor controls the audio processing module to select and process audio signal sharing among the computing device, the mobile device, and the audio input and output device.

Selecting bridge telephone number for dial-out

A conference system is provided that includes a processor configured to provision a plurality of bridge telephone numbers having a plurality of different country codes, and receive a dial-out request for one of a plurality of attendees of a conference meeting for connecting to the conference meeting. The dial-out request includes a target telephone number associated with a communication device of the one of the plurality of attendees. The processor is further configured to select one of the provisioned plurality of bridge telephone numbers based on a result of a match between at least a country code of the selected bridge telephone number and the target telephone number, and cause dial-out to the target telephone number from the selected bridge telephone number.

Routing of conference participant based on caller recognition

Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for routing one or more requests to join or initiate a collaboration conference based on at least an identifier of a requesting device. In one embodiment, a telecommunications network obtains an identifier, such as the telephone number, of a device requesting to join or initiate a collaboration conference. The identifying information is then compared to a database of user accounts maintained by the network. The network may then prompt the user of the requesting device to join a particular conferencing bridge or provide particular conferencing features based on the one or more preferences associated with the user's account. A response to the prompt may be received and then acted upon by the network to connect the requesting device to a collaboration conference and/or provide the one or more conferencing features to the requesting device.

Media stream sending method and apparatus, and device

A media stream sending method provides a live media stream for a client that enters a live broadcast room. A proxy server receives, from a first client, a first live broadcast room request message for requesting to enter the live broadcast room; the proxy server determines a role of the first client based on the first live broadcast room request message; and if the role of the first client is a slave user, the proxy server sends a first live media stream cached in the proxy server to the first client, where the first live media stream is a media stream that is sent by a media server to a second client through the proxy server, and a role of the second client is a master user.
