Voice enabled IoT using second line service
Enablement of a voice channel being established between an IoT device and a controller through the use of a voice-line service system.
Web-enabled chat conferences and meeting implementations
Meeting and conferencing systems and methods are implemented in a variety of manners. Consistent with an embodiment of the present disclosure, a meeting system is implemented via a computer server which is configured to provide a web-based meeting-group subscription option to potential meeting participants. A meeting scheduling data is received over a web-accessible virtual meeting interface. The meeting scheduling data includes group identification information and meeting time information. In response to the group identification information, participant identification information is retrieved for participants that become associated with a meeting group identified by the group identification information. Chat sessions may be used by the meeting participants.
VOICE ENABLED IOT USING SECOND LINE SERVICE
Enablement of a voice channel being established between an IoT device and a controller through the use of a voice-line service system.
System and method for providing enterprise voice call continuity
An improved system and method are disclosed for providing voice call continuity in an enterprise network. For example, an enterprise public branch exchange (PBX) may be configured with a pilot number that is used to provide VCC services when called by a client. Digit collection via DMTF signaling or other means may be used to collect destination information from the client. The enterprise network may use the collected digits to establish a communication session with another device that corresponds to the destination information.
Communication system and method for making telephone calls over the internet
A system and related method are disclosed for sending SMS messages and phone calls via a Voice over Internet Protocol network. Disclosed embodiments permit the insertion of user identification data into the calls or SMS messages such that the recipient's phone displays that data as caller identification. Additional embodiments include geographical data such as GPS coordinates in the caller identification data to permit the immediate location of emergency calls.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CELL PHONE TO CELL PHONE SIGNAL TRANSMISSION VIA THE INTERNET
A telephone system is provided for transmitting telephone signals between first and second mobile stations. The system includes a first internet protocol interface configured to receive an incoming cell phone signal generated by the first mobile station and to transmit the phone signal to the internet. A second internet protocol interface is configured to receive the phone signal sent through the internet by the first internet protocol interface and to transmit the phone signal to the second mobile station, such that users of the first and second mobile stations can engage in a conversation where the phone signals are communicated over substantial distances through the internet.
Original calling identification with mobile phone in docked mode
A mobile device determines whether the mobile device is docked with a docking station that connects to a VoIP network, where the mobile device is capable of receiving calls to a cellular telephone number and calls to a VoIP telephone number. The mobile device notifies, if the mobile device is docked with the docking station, a call handling node in a cellular network to forward calls destined for the cellular telephone number to the VoIP telephone number at a VoIP call server. The mobile device receives a call forwarded from the VoIP call server, where the call was originally destined for the cellular telephone number.
VOICE ENABLED IOT USING SECOND LINE SERVICE
Enablement of a voice channel being established between an IoT device and a controller through the use of a voice-line service system.
Systems and methods for handling incoming telephone calls
Systems and methods for handling an incoming telephone call received at a private branch exchange system and directed to an employee enable an actual or virtual receptionist to camp the call on the employee's extension. When the call is camped on the employee's extension, the private branch exchange system causes a push notification to be sent to a telephony device used by the employee to notify the employee that a call is camped on his extension. Such a push notification may also inform the employee about how many calls are camped on his extension. Further, such a push notification may provide the employee with information about the identity of a calling party whose call is camped on the employee's extension.
NETWORKING BETWEEN VOIP-AND PSTN-CALLS
Programmatically reversing numerical line identity presented at a communications services gateway into named IP Telephony users with “prior association”, delivers dynamic “reverse address resolution” switching connections from ground to cloud, permitting any conventional telephone to dial and connect to any associated IP Telephony endpoint in the world, without changes to the conventional telephone. Reversing line identity into associated named users bridges both the addressability and economic divide between mass conventional “paying” (mobile and fixed) and “free”. IP Telephony networks. A system for supporting communications between a user on an IP-addressed-communications-device and a telephony subscriber device, the telephony subscriber device having a corresponding telephone number, includes: one or more service nodes configured to: receive from the user the telephone number of the telephony subscriber device and create an association from the telephone number to the user, wherein the association allows the telephony subscriber device to connect to the user.
