METHOD FOR INPUTTING A MESSAGE ON A TERMINAL IN A PRIMARY LANGUAGE AND TRANSLATING PASSAGES FROM A SECONDARY LANGUAGE
A method for inputting a message on a terminal. The method is performed by a processing unit of the terminal and/or a processing unit of a server connected to the terminal and includes: identifying a primary language for the message; detecting the input of a part of the message in a secondary language, different from the primary language; and translating into the primary language the part inputted in the secondary language.
Vehicle immersive communication system
A vehicle communication system facilitates hands-free interaction with a mobile device in a vehicle or elsewhere. Users interact with the system by speaking to it. The system processes text and processes commands. The system supports Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free use. The system handles telephone calls, email, and SMS text messages. The user can customize the device via a user profile stored on an Internet web server.
Using auxiliary device case for translation
An auxiliary device charging case is used to facilitate translation features of a mobile computing device or auxiliary device. A first user, who may be a foreign language speaker, holds the charging case and speaks into the charging case. The charging case communicates the received speech to the mobile computing device, either directly or through the auxiliary device, which translates the received speech into a second language for a second user, who is the owner of the mobile computing device and auxiliary device. The second user may provide input in the second language, such as by speaking or typing into the auxiliary or mobile computing device. The mobile computing device may translate this second input to the first language, and transmit the translated input to the charging case either directly or through the auxiliary device. The charging case may output the translated second input to the first user, such as through a speaker or display screen.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CHARACTER DISPLAY IN A USER EQUIPMENT
A method at a user equipment, the method including receiving a string of indicia identifying at the user equipment, the string further comprising an indicator bit; based on the indicator bit, performing one of: determining whether the user equipment supports one or more indicium of the string of indicia and skipping display of characters corresponding to non-supported indicia; or displaying all indicium within the string of indicia. In other embodiments, utilizing a language delineator to choose a string of indicia to display or providing a language delineator to a network element and using the complete string of indicia received from a network element based on the provided language delineator.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HANDS-FREE MULTI-LINGUAL ONLINE COMMUNICATION
According to various embodiments, a method for hands-free multi-lingual online communication between a first mobile device and a second mobile device is disclosed. The method comprises receiving, at the first mobile device, a text input message in a second language from the second mobile device associated with a second user. Further, the method comprises determining whether a preferred language selection for communicating with the second user on the first mobile device is associated with a language different than the second language. Further, the method comprises translating the received text input message into the first language for a first user of the first mobile device. Furthermore, the method comprises displaying the text input message into the first language on the first mobile device.
COMPUTERIZED SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION SYSTEM AND NETWORK FACILITATING REAL-TIME CALLS AND MEETINGS
A computerized VoIP system which provides a computerized service for facilitating face-to-face and/or telephone meetings, in real time, between persons lacking a common language or having language barriers such as accents and dialects e.g. by utilizing or generating a networked worldwide community of Simultaneous Interpreters, using e.g. POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service), Smart Phone or any mobile phone. A platform may thereby be provided for professional simultaneous interpreters and business/private people, where interpreters from all over the world may translate any face-to-face meeting or telephone call between business people in any combination of languages, in real time.
SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS TO DETERMINE USER DATA ASSOCIATED WITH MOBILE APPLICATIONS
Various systems, mediums, and methods may determine one or more configurations associated with a provider application. For example, a mobile system may determine a request to install a provider application, possibly based on one or more user inputs received by the mobile system. The mobile system may determine other applications installed on the mobile system. The mobile system may determine one or more configurations of the provider application based on the other applications installed. As such, the mobile system may install the provider application to the mobile system based on the one or more configurations determined.
MOBILE TERMINAL AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are provided. The mobile terminal includes a camera, a display unit configured to display a preview image obtained by the camera, and a controller configured to detect a first command for entering a translation mode, output a GUI window for selecting at least one partial region of a text included in the preview image to the display unit in response to the detected first command, control the display unit to display a translation result of a text corresponding the GUI window on the preview image.
Internet of things language setting system
A programmable device is configured to detect a user preferred language from one or more other devices. When the programmable device is automatically programmed, the device provides a complete, seamless integrated experience and a user can immediately interact with the programmable device in a known language. The preferred device language can be set by reference to a user device, such as a phone, tablet, and/or other personal electronic device, by reference to one or more additional programmable devices in communication with the programmable device, and/or reference to a remote server storing the language preference of the user.
