SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING CALLS
A computer-implemented method for managing calls in a collaboration environment is provided. The method includes receiving, by a processor, a call into a collaboration session of the collaboration environment. The method also includes identifying, by the processor, a user from a plurality of users associated with the collaboration session, based on at least one of contextual information regarding the call and information regarding the plurality of users. The method further includes providing, by the processor, an interface on a device associated with the identified user, wherein the interface enables the identified user to instruct the device to handle the call within the collaboration session.
USER INTERFACE FOR MULTI-USER COMMUNICATION SESSION
The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for multi-user communication sessions. In some examples, a device initiates a live stream in a communication session. In some examples, a device transitions between streaming live audio and live video. In some examples, a device enables synchronizing media playback during a live stream. In some examples, a device displays synchronized media playback and plays a reaction from a first participant of the communication session.
CONFERENCE DEVICE HAVING A CONFIGURABLE CONTROL BUTTON
A conference device includes a physical control button having multiple underlying pressure zones; a configuration unit, adapted to visualize a number of active functions on and/or around the control button based on a chosen usage application, wherein the number is at most equal to the number of the underlying pressure zones; a control unit adapted to control one or multiple components on the conference device. The pressing of the control button at the position of one of the pressure zones results in a control which depends on the chosen usage application.
COMPLEX COMPUTING NETWORK FOR IMPROVING ESTABLISHMENT AND STREAMING OF AUDIO COMMUNICATION AMONG MOBILE COMPUTING DEVICES
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for improving establishment and broadcasting of communication among mobile computing devices. For example, a method comprises determining a first user accesses a mobile application on a first mobile device of the first user; determining a second user accesses the mobile application on a second mobile device of the second user; and initiating the audio conversation between the first user and the second user, wherein the audio conversation is streamed to a third user who accesses the mobile application on a third mobile device of the third user.
MEETING MANAGEMENT ENGINE FOR A MEETING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing a missing meeting content manifest associated with missing meeting content for a meeting (e.g., a meeting session) in a meeting management system. A missing meeting content manifest—a record of data of meeting content—can be a file that identifies segments of data that are associated with the missing meeting content. In operation, the meeting management system detects that an attendee is disconnected from the meeting and later determines that the attendee has reconnected to the meeting. The meeting management system calculates a number of segments of the meeting content associated with a period of time the attendee was so disconnected and generates a missing meeting content manifest corresponding to the number of segments of the meeting content associated with the period of time the attendee was disconnected. The meeting management system communicates the missing meeting content manifest to the attendee device.
Custom communication actions based on environment analysis
According to one embodiment, facilitating communications through a communication device can comprise monitoring, by the communication device, one or more environmental sensors of the communication device including at least one sensor collecting biometric information. A presence of one or more people can be detected by the communication device based on the monitoring or the one or more environmental sensors and the detected one or more people can be identified by the communication device based at least in part on input from the one or more environmental sensors. One or more possible actions related to communications through the communication device can be determined by the communication device based on the identified one or more people. A user interface including a prompt for at least one of the determined one or more possible actions related to communications through the communication device can then be provided.
Methods and systems for providing enterprise services to wearable and mobile devices
Methods and systems are provided for enhancing communications mobility in an enterprise using a distributed communication controller. The distributed communication controller identifies a user device, verifies the device and delivers enterprise communication services to the user via the user device without requiring the execution of an enterprise communication application by the wearable device. When the user device is a wearable device, a wireless message is sent from the wearable device in physical proximity to the distributed communication controller that contains identification information. Based on the identification information, user information associated with the user of the user device is retrieved and then used to determine whether enterprise communication services are available for the user. Next, the user is verified through an interaction with the user device and the distributed communication controller and the enterprise communication services are provided to the user by the distributed communication controller.
Information processing method and information processing system
An information processing system and a method for operating same are provided. The information processing system includes a first information processing apparatus and a second information processing apparatus. The first information processing apparatus is configured to display a first synchronous image in a first window, the first window having an operation right. The second information processing apparatus has a synchronous state or an asynchronous state. The second information processing apparatus is configured to: display a second synchronous image; in response to a first request, switch from the synchronous state to the asynchronous state; and in response to a second request, switch from the asynchronous state to the synchronous state.
OPERATING STATES BASED ON LID POSITIONS AND DEVICE MOVEMENTS
An example non-transitory computer readable medium store a set of instructions when executed cause a controller of a computing device to determine a position of a lid portion of the computing device based on a first signal from a first sensor and determine movement of the computing device based on a second signal from a second sensor. The instructions when executed further cause the controller to transmit a command to a processor of the computing device in response to the determined position of the lid portion and the determined movement, the command to direct the processor to maintain a current operating state.
Collaboration hub for a group-based communication system
Computer-readable media, methods, and systems for generating a collaboration hub for display within a graphical user interface of a group-based communication system. The collaboration hub comprises a list of recommended active users, a list of recommended active synchronous multimedia collaboration sessions, and a feed of recommended asynchronous collaboration threads such that relevant activity within the group-based communication system is viewable and accessible to users of the group-based communication system.
