Methods, devices and systems of supporting discontinuous operation in communication systems using vectoring
Methods, devices and techniques are disclosed where vectoring is adapted to lines becoming inactive and active, for example in a discontinued operation. In some embodiments, the vectoring is modified based on already present coefficients.
Methods and apparatus for communicating via digital subscriber lines
Methods and apparatus are disclosed for communicating in a telecommunication system. In particular methods and apparatus are disclosed for establishing communications in a telecommunication system having an access node (16) and a plurality of Digital Subscriber Lines (DSLs) (21, 22, 23) each of which may be used to allow communication between the access node (16) and a respective Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) device (51, 52, 53), where communications on a plurality of lines (21, 21) are being performed using vectoring, and where it is desired to add one or more new lines (23) to the existing vectoring group.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MULTIPATH COMMUNICATIONS
Broadband communications devices and methods operate with at least two separate communication paths between the devices and the network, such as the Internet. The broadband devices and methods receive data concurrently over the communication paths or separately. The bandwidth is increased when the separate communication paths are combined. The broadband devices employ packetized data with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technologies combined with RF communications technologies.

QUAD TVS PROTECTION CIRCUIT FOR AN ELECTRONIC DSL COMPONENT
A protection circuit for use with an electronic DSL component having a tip connection and a ring connection, the protection circuit including: a first unidirectional transient-voltage-suppression (TVS) diode, having a negative TVS breakdown voltage BDV and diode forward voltage DV clamp, connected between Vcc and the tip connection of the DSL component; a second unidirectional TVS diode, having a diode forward voltage DV, connected between the tip connection of the DSL component and a negative ground clamp node; a third unidirectional TVS diode, having a negative TVS breakdown voltage BDV and diode forward voltage DV clamp, connected between Vcc and the ring connection of the DSL component; and a fourth unidirectional TVS diode, having a diode forward voltage DV, connected between the ring connection of the DSL component and the negative ground clamp node.
System and method for multi-mode customer service interaction
The present application includes a method and system for multi-channel interaction. A communication session is initiated between a customer service representative (CSR) and an end user. Multi-channel communication is used between the end user and the CSR. The multi-channel communication includes at least voice and data. Information is presented to the end user via a user interface, and the user can confirm the accuracy of the information using the user interface.

CONTACT LIST RECONCILIATION AND PERMISSIONING
Techniques for using validated communications identifiers of a user's communications profile to resolve entries in another user's contact list are described. When a user imports a contact list, the contact list may include multiple entities related to the same person. The system may identify one of the entries in the contact list that corresponds to a validated communications identifier stored in another user's communications profile. The system may identify other validated communications identifiers in the other user's communications profile and cross-reference them against the entries of the contact list. If the system determines the contact list includes entries for the different validated communications identifiers of the other user, the system may consolidate the entries into a single entry associated with the other user.
