Method and system for establishing a telecommunications link in accordance with allocation information
Disclosed is a method for establishing a telecommunications link (C1, C2, C3) for a user to whom a first communications terminal (D1) is allocated. According to said method, an allocation information is made available to a control program (100, 22) running on a CTI server (20) for establishing the telecommunications link (C1, C2, C3), in which information a first allocation (72, 92) is defined for the first communications terminal (D1) as specified by the user, said first allocation defining an allocation of a second communications terminal (D3, D4) to the first communications terminal (D1). The telecommunications link (C1, C2, C3) is established by the control program (100, 22) in accordance with the first allocation, using the second communications terminal (D3, D4) instead of the first communications terminal (D1). The method is characterized in that in the allocation information a second allocation (70, 90) is defined, by which the first communications terminal (D1) is signaled to the control program (100, 22) as being the only terminal used by the user in the telecommunications link established (C1, C2, C3). The invention further provides a corresponding system.
Methods, Apparatuses and System for Synchronizing Call Media and Content
Provided are methods, apparatuses and a system for synchronizing call media and content. In a process of playing call media to a user and displaying content associated with the call media, a terminal acquires new call media from a call media server and acquires, after querying a synchronization server for content information corresponding to the new call media, content associated with the new call media from a content server, respectively, in response to a user operation. The terminal plays the new call media to the user, and displays the content associated with the new call media simultaneously.
Systems, methods, devices and arrangements for unified messaging
A system or device can be configured with a first interface that is configured and arranged to provide content to a remote web-browser. This first interface can be provided by a computer server designed to implement a website. A second interface is configured and arranged to communicate content of an audio telephone calls with a remote audio-enabled device. This second interface can also communicate video content, text content, document sharing content and/or desktop sharing content. A processing circuit is configured and arranged to establish an audio telephone call between the remote web-browser and the remote audio-enabled device. The processing circuit can also facilitate communications with social networks by passing a general status message to a plurality of interface modules, each interface module designed to interface with a corresponding and respective social network.

A system or device can be configured with a first interface to provide content to a remote web-browser. This first interface can be provided by a computer server designed to implement a website. A second interface is configured and arranged to communicate content of an IP-based conference with a remote IP-enabled device. This second interface may also communicate video content, text content, document sharing content and/or desktop sharing content. A computer processing circuit is configured to establish an IP-based call between the remote web-browser and the remote audio-enabled device.
Automated communications response system
In one embodiment, a system provides for end-user control over the automatic recognition of communication situations by detection of unique telecommunication event characteristics and the consequential responses to those situations by invocation of related programmatic responses. The system allows an end user to specify various patterns of telecommunication event characteristics that describe various situational aspects of incoming communications, such as the timing and originator of voice calls, the content of, timing of, and author of chat messages, etc., as well as appropriate sets of programmatic response actions to be performed in response to those communications, such as initiating conference calls, sending chat messages, routing calls to other users, etc. The system monitors incoming communications, matches characteristic patterns to recognize the situations, and then invokes the matching response actions, thereby automating many functions of the communication system that previously would have had to be performed manually.

Method and apparatus for abstracting telephony functions
A method and apparatus for abstracting telephony functions is disclosed. An apparatus that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a terminal device having a User Interface (UI) element that presents a plurality of Graphical User Interface (GUI) elements that abstract a corresponding plurality of telephony functions, and a telephony element that initiates a telephony process in response to a selection by an end user of the terminal device of two or more of the plurality of GUI elements to form a combined telephony function. Additional embodiments are disclosed.
