There is provided an information processing apparatus. A processing unit receives original document data defining a design of an original document and processes the original document data so as to conform to a completion state of the original document during output. A creating unit creates output data in which the original document based on the processed original document data is disposed in an arrangement region on a recording medium having the original document formed thereon in a case where a ratio of a region of the original document based on the processed original document data to the arrangement region falls within an arrangement limitation, in a case where an amount of processing performed by the processing unit falls within a processing limitation.
METHOD FOR SCHEDULING PRINTING OF DIGITAL IMAGES FROM AT LEAST ONE INPUT ROLL TO AT LEAST ONE OUTPUT ROLL IN A ROLL-TO-ROLL PRINTING SYSTEM
A method for printing digital images on at least one input roll of media in order to form at least one output roll by means of a roll-to-roll printing system is disclosed. The roll-to-roll printing system includes a digital image queue including an entry for each digital image to be printed. The method includes registering in an entry of the digital image queue a first digital item identifying the digital image and digital items of print properties of the digital image, printing the digital image according to the order of the entry in the digital image queue, and registering in the entry a second digital item identifying an input roll on which the digital image is going to be printed and a third digital item identifying an output roll on which the printed digital image is going to be wound. A roll-to-roll printing system is configured to apply the method.
FOOD SERVICE MATERIAL DISPENSERS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Systems for providing on-demand food service material printing for food service are provided herein. A food service material dispenser comprises a roll holder configured to hold a roll of food service material, one or more rollers, and a motor configured to operate to translate the food service material along a path within the dispenser. The dispenser includes a cutting arrangement configured to perform a cut of the food service material to form the sheet of food service material that defines a size associated with a food service order. The dispenser also includes a printer configured to print at least one of order information or personalization information on the food service material that is based on the associated food service order. The dispenser further includes a chute configured to dispense the sheet of food service material, which includes the at least one of order information or personalization information printed thereon.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, JOB MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER READABLE PROGRAM
An image processing device reduces influence from delay due to one or more post processors and efficiently utilizes resources of an image former, to improve productivity. The image processing device includes: a job taker configured to take a print job; and a print data producer configured to output print data to an image former, configured to form an image on a sheet, and control a cutter configured to cut, inline, the sheet having the image formed and the image former. When the job taker takes a first print job to use the cutter and then takes a second print job not to use the cutter, the print data producer executes the first print job concurrently with the second print job.
Printing system for printing alignment mark and method of controlling printing system for printing alignment mark
To provide a printing system that can print, on a medium, an alignment mark for aligning the medium in a processing device that performs processing on the medium after printing without complicated work carried out by a user. The printing system includes a printer, the processing device, a printer control unit, a processing device control unit, a data creating unit that creates printing data for performing printing on the medium and processing data for performing processing on the medium after printing, and a data processor that transmits the printing data to the printer control unit and transmits the processing data to the processing device control unit. The data processor creates alignment data for aligning the medium in the processing device, and transmits the alignment data to the printer control unit. The printer control unit controls the printer to print the alignment mark on the medium.
Separating mechanical elements in an image forming apparatus after a predetermined period of time
An apparatus includes an image forming portion 10 for forming an image on a sheet; a first rotatable member 100; a second rotatable member 101 cooperative with the first rotatable member to form a nip for fixing the image formed by the image forming portion, on the sheet; a pressing mechanism 112, 113 for pressing the first rotatable member toward the second rotatable member; a moving mechanism 120 for moving the pressing mechanism between a first position in which the nip is formed by the first rotatable member and the second rotatable member, and a second position in which the first rotatable member and the second rotatable member are spaced from each other; and a controller 800 for controlling an operation of the moving mechanism, wherein the image forming apparatus is capable of executing an operation in a control mode in which a pressure releasing operation is executed such that the pressing mechanism is shifted from the first position to the second position after elapse of a predetermined time after completion of execution of the image formation job. The apparatus includes a manual operating portion 831 in which selection and setting can be executed as to whether to execute the operation in the control mode.
METHODS, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEMS FOR IMPROVING PRINTING PRECISION
Various embodiments disclose a method for operating a printer apparatus that includes a print head. The method includes causing a media hub to retract a media in a retract direction along a media path. Further, the method includes causing a first media sensor to generate a first signal during retraction of the media. Furthermore, the method includes monitoring the first signal to detect at least one of a leading edge or a trailing edge of a label of the plurality of labels. Upon detecting the at least one of the leading edge or the trailing edge of the label, causing the media hub to retract the media by at least a predetermined distance, wherein the predetermined distance is a distance between the print head and the first media sensor.
FOOD SERVICE CUP DISPENSERS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Systems for providing on-demand cup printing and dispensing for food service are provided herein. A cup dispenser includes a cup source configured to hold a stack of cups and one or more cup-moving elements configured to cause a cup from the stack of cups to move through the cup dispenser.
