Systems and Methods for Efficiently Managing Print Procurement Orders Based on Item-Specific Interest Levels and Supplier-Influenced Thresholds
20190220236 · 2019-07-18 ·

Systems and methods of managing print procurement systems based on groups associated with item-specific interest levels and supplier-influenced thresholds are disclosed herein. An example method includes displaying, in an available-groups user interface (UI), respective representations for each of a first and a second buy group. Each buy group includes a respective fixed plurality of physical items associated with a respective time period. The example method further includes displaying a first and second object that includes data reflecting recent changes to respective interest levels associated with a respective buy group. Receiving a request to view a UI for the first buy group and, in response, displaying the first buy group UI. While the first buy group UI is displayed, receiving a request to view the available-groups UI and, in response, displaying the available-groups UI with an updated first and second object.

A job execution device, including: an operation panel; a communicator for communicating with another job execution device; and a hardware processor that: displays its own operation window and the operation window of the another job execution device on the operation panel; receives a setting of a distribution process for distributing a process for executing the job relating to a first function between the job execution device and the another job execution device by a predetermined operation, when a selection button of the first function exists in both of its own operation window and the operation window of the another job execution device; and instructs the job executor of the job execution device and the another job execution device to carry out the distribution process, when an entry of the job relating to the first function is received in a situation in which the distribution process is set.

Systems and methods for efficiently managing print procurement orders based on item-specific interest levels and supplier-influenced thresholds

Systems and methods of managing print procurement systems based on item-specific interest levels and supplier-influenced thresholds are disclosed herein. An example method includes: receiving a request to view ordering information for a fixed plurality of physical items associated with a time period. In response, the method includes: displaying a respective user interface (UI) object for each physical item of the fixed plurality (e.g., a first UI object for a first physical item includes a visual representation of an aggregate interest level during the time period as compared to a threshold interest level, and the aggregate interest level reflects a quantity requested by two distinct users). While displaying the respective UI objects, the method includes: receiving an indication that the threshold interest level for the first physical item has been satisfied; and, in accordance with receiving the indication, updating the first UI object to indicate that the threshold interest level for the first physical item has been satisfied.

System and method to ensure uniform level of color of a distributed print job among multiple printers in a print shop

A server, system, and method are disclosed for ensuring uniform level of color of distributed print jobs, wherein each of the plurality of printers is configured to conduct color validation and/or color calibration based on a first criterion. The server having a processor configured to: receive, from a client computer, a request relating to a print job; determine whether the received print job is a split job, which can be split amongst the plurality of the printers; filter at least two printers each having an in-line spectrophotometer from the plurality of printers; and instruct to the each filtered at least two printers so that color validation and/or color calibration is performed based on a second criterion by using the in-line spectrophotometer, wherein the second criterion causes color validation and/or color calibration at each of the each filtered at least two printers to be performed earlier than the first criterion.
