Image pixel color cast correction
An image processing method, an image forming apparatus, and a storage medium are provided in embodiments of the present disclosure. The image processing method includes acquiring a first color component value and a second color component value of each pixel of a to-be-processed image in a preset color space; determining a color cast pixel according to the first color component value and the second color component value of each pixel; and performing pixel correction on each color cast pixel to obtain a corrected to-be-processed image. In the technical solutions of various embodiment of the present application, the color cast pixel in the to-be-processed image is determined by the first color component value and the second color component value of the pixel, and the pixel correction is performed on the color cast pixel, which removes colored noise in the printed image and improves image printing quality.

The method includes: detecting a first operation; starting, by an electronic device, a camera in response to the first operation; detecting a second operation; acquiring, by the camera, a first image in response to the second operation; performing first image processing on the first image to obtain a second image in a second color space, where the second color space is different from a first color space; performing second image processing on the second image to obtain a target image; and storing the target image, where the performing second image processing on the second image includes: obtaining a second parameter based on a first parameter of a first ambient light source, where the first parameter includes a white balance parameter of the first ambient light source, the second parameter has a correspondence with the first parameter, the second parameter is used to identify light source information of the first ambient light source in a third color space, and the third color space is different from the first color space and the second color space; and performing second image processing on the second image based on the second parameter.

An apparatus and a method that decrease a banding phenomenon in a subsampled image and achieve high image quality are provided. A subsampled image obtained by copying an adjacent pixel value to a pixel value thinning position is accepted as an input image; a correction target signal global gain is calculated as a ratio between a slope of a correction target signal and a slope of a luminance signal of a global region made up of a plurality of consecutive pixels including a pixel position of the correction target pixel of the input image; a luminance local slope is calculated as a slope of the luminance signal of a local region which is a region within the global region, including the pixel position of the correction target pixel of the input image and smaller than the global region; and a corrected pixel value of the correction target pixel is calculated by multiplying the luminance local slope by the correction target signal global gain and applying a multiplication result. For example, the corrected pixel value is calculated by adding a correction target signal pixel value at an end of the local region to a multiplication value.

Joint enhancement of lightness, color and contrast of images and video
In some embodiments, color and contrast enhancement video processing may be done in one shot instead of adjusting one of color and contrast enhancement, then the other, and then going back to the first one to readjust because of the second adjustment. In some embodiments, global lightness adjustment, local contrast enhancement, and saturation enhancement may be done at the same time and in parallel. Lightness adjustment improves visibility of details for generally dark or generally light images without changing intended lighting conditions in the original shot, and is used to enhance the range of color/saturation enhancement. Local contrast enhancement done in parallel improves visual definition of objects and textures and thus local contrast and perceived sharpness.

An image processing circuit for multi-illumination white balance with thumbnail processing. The image processing circuit determines a set of initial weights for a source pixel in a thumbnail image by determining component values for multiple color channels of the source pixel. The image processing circuit determines a set of weights for the source pixel in a weight map for the thumbnail image. Each weight in the set of weights is determined based on corresponding initial weights from the set of initial weights. Each weight in the set of weights represents an intensity level of a respective chrominance class of multiple chrominance classes for the source pixel. The image processing circuit applies the set of weights to values of the color channels of the source pixel to generate color component values of the color channels of a target pixel in a target thumbnail image.
