METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SELECTING NEIGHBOR POINT IN POINT CLOUD, ENCODER, AND DECODER
This application provides a method for selecting a neighbor point of a current point in a point cloud. The method includes: determining, from point cloud data, a target region where the current point is located, the target region comprising a plurality of points; determining, for at least two decoded target points in the target region, a weight coefficient of each of the at least two target points, the at least two target points not comprising the current point; determining a weight of each of the at least two target points according to the weight coefficient and geometry information of each of the at least two target points and geometry information of the current point; and selecting at least one from the at least two target points according to the weight of each of the at least two target points as the neighbor point of the current point.
TECHNIQUES FOR DYNAMIC RESOLUTIONS
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may dynamically indicate a resolution change to a display of the UE during a video call. For example, a first UE may communicate a configuration message with a second UE to establish a video call between the first UE and the second UE and indicate a first value for a resolution of a display of the first UE. During the video call, the first UE may identify a change to the resolution of the display and may transmit a message to the second UE that indicates the change to the resolution. In response to receiving the message, the second UE may encode one or more packets including video information for the video call according to a second value for the resolution and transmit the one or more packets to the first UE.

Interactive entertainment content
A system can be configured to receive entertainment content requested by a user and identify content segments and content features from the entertainment content. The content segments can be utilized to identify portions of the entertainment content for enrichment and/or enhancement by the system. The content features can be utilized to associate the entertainment content and the content segments with supplemental content that includes or is associated with the content features. The content features can indicate genres, scene classifications, significant figures credited with creating the entertainment content, and other points of interests for users interested in the entertainment content. The associations between the entertainment content and the supplemental content can enable the system to engage the users by presenting the supplemental content determined to match interests of the users.

Panorama video editing method, apparatus, device and storage medium
The present invention is applicable to the technical field of panoramic videos. Provided are a panoramic video clip method, apparatus and device, and a storage medium. The method comprises acquiring a panoramic video photographed by means of a panoramic camera, and recording an advancing-direction viewing angle of the panoramic camera during moving photographing; carrying out a frame extraction operation on the acquired panoramic video to obtain a corresponding panoramic video frame, carrying out significant target detection on the panoramic video frame, tracking a detected significant target by using a preset target tracking algorithm, and acquiring a viewing angle at which the tracked significant target is located; and clipping the panoramic video according to the advancing-direction viewing angle and the viewing angle at which the significant target is located, so as to generate a target video corresponding to the panoramic video. A panoramic video is automatically clipped, and the fluency of transitions, and the effectiveness and the degree to which content in a target video is interesting are also ensured.
DECODING METHOD AND CODING METHOD FOR UNMATCHED PIXEL, DECODER, AND ENCODER
This application provides a method for decoding an unmatched pixel performed by an electronic device. The method includes: obtaining a bit stream of a target video sequence and decoding the bit stream of the target video sequence by at least two entropy decoding methods, to obtain a binary symbol string of an unmatched pixel in a target picture block, the target picture block being obtained by dividing a target picture frame in the target video sequence; inversely binarizing the binary symbol string, to obtain a component value of the unmatched pixel; and obtaining the target picture block based on the component value of the unmatched pixel. This method can improve the flexibility of coding and facilitate equalization between the coding performance and the coding overhead of the unmatched pixel.
Methods and apparatus to detect commercial advertisements associated with media presentations
Methods and apparatus to detect commercial advertisements associated with media presentations are disclosed. An example method involves receiving a video frame and detecting a change in box-formatting between the video frame and a subsequent video frame. A transition between the video frame and the subsequent video frame is indicated as a commercial advertisement transition based on the detected change in box-formatting.

Adapting runtime and providing content during an activity
Methods and systems are described for identifying and adapting the playback speed of content to be provided during an activity. The methods and systems receive an input including a start cue indicating a start of an activity and access an average duration and an intensity score for the activity. Then the system calculates an adjusted average runtime for the activity based on the average duration and the intensity score and identifies one or more content items, the one or more content items having a total runtime equivalent to the adjusted average runtime for the activity. The system adjusts the playback speed of the identified one or more content items such that the total runtime of playback of the one or more content items matches the average duration for the activity and provides the one or more content items for consumption.
