Systems and methods for providing interactive visualizations of digital content to a user
A computer-implemented method may include: receiving, by a first computer server, content provider data and content item data; identifying a plurality of profile elements by applying machine learning techniques to the received content provider data and content item data; calculating a first plurality of profile element scores for the content provider in each of the plurality of profile elements and a second plurality of profile element scores for the plurality of content items in each of the plurality of profile elements; determining, by utilizing one or more distance algorithms, profile element vector distances between the first plurality of profile element scores for the content provider and the plurality of second profile element scores for the plurality of content items; ranking the plurality of content items based on the determined profile element vector distances; and generating an interactive graphical user interface (GUI) displaying a plurality of radar graphs.

Terminal, control method therefor, and recording medium in which program for implementing method is recorded
The present invention relates to: a terminal capable of setting a trigger area and outputting additional contents in response to an input of touching the set trigger area; and a control method therefor. The terminal according to the present invention can comprise a touch screen for displaying information and receiving a touch input, and a control unit for performing control so as to output main contents on the touch screen, set a trigger area linked to a plurality of additional contents on the main content, output a list of the plurality of additional contents linked to the trigger area in response to a touch input of touching the trigger area when an edit mode for allowing setting of the trigger area is terminated and a viewer mode is executed, and output first additional contents corresponding to the selected item when any one is selected from the list.
Dynamic contextual media filter
A contextual filter system configured to perform operations that include, capturing an image frame at a client device, wherein the image frame includes a depiction of an object, identifying an object category of the object based on the depiction of the object within the image frame, accessing media content associated with the object category within a media repository, generating a presentation of the media content, and causing display of the presentation of the media content within the image frame at the client device.
Selective Interactivity
A system may selectively deliver interactive portions of a piece of content, based for example on a recipient user's historical tendency to use interactive portions of prior content. Multiple levels of interactivity may be defined for a given piece of content, such as an advertisement, and different users may receive different levels of interactivity based on how much they use interactive features. Some users may receive no interactive features at all, while others may receive the interactive features, and despite the fact that all of the users' devices may be perfectly capable of processing the interactive features for the user. The omission from transmission may conserve bandwidth and transmission resources.

Systems/methods for identifying products for purchase within audio-visual content utilizing QR or other machine-readable visual codes
An automated system/method for identifying and enabling viewer selection/purchase of products or services associated with digital content presented on a display device. Products within the digital content are identified and existing product placement data is ascertained. For products that do not include such data, other methodologies, with the assistance of third-party servers, are employed to assess identity and purchase availability. Viewer input designate products to assess or products can be automatically assessed. Viewers initiate purchase of identified products via the display device or other electronic devices controlled by viewers, such as via viewers' smart phones. Various processes for identifying products include use of AI processing, access to data on third-party servers, crowd sourcing and other methodologies. Various techniques for selecting products for purchases are employed including employing 3D codes (e.g., QR codes) alongside presented products to enable other portable electronic devices to facilitate purchase. Other features are described.
Synchronizing video content with extrinsic data
Disclosed are various embodiments for associating and synchronizing extrinsic data with video content at particular points of time in the video content. In one embodiment, an application identifies a video content feature currently being presented via a display device. A current time in the video content feature are determined. Performers potentially depicted in the video content feature at the current time are determined. The application then generates a user interface configured to receive a user selection of a particular performer from the performers, where the user selection indicates that the particular performer is depicted in the video content feature at the current time.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING FOCUSED CONTENT
Systems and methods are provided herein for presenting a focused display of content. A content item is generated for display and an index map is received for the content item. The index map correlates the content item, for example, a region of the content item, to the focused content. A focus indicator can be simultaneously displayed with the content item to inform a viewer of the availability of the focused content. A selection to present the focused content is received and in response, and based on the index map, the focused content is generated for display, thereby enabling a viewer to have a personalized viewing experience.
