Mechanisms for presenting media content items using multiple devices are provided. In some embodiments, methods for presenting media content are provided that include: detecting an offer to initiate a purchase of a content item being presented using the media device, wherein the media device has not been authenticated with a content service that provides the content item; in response to detecting the offer to initiate the purchase of the content item when the media device has not been authenticated with the content service that provides the content item, causing the media device to be discoverable by one or more mobile devices that are connected to a same local area network as the media device; encoding offer data corresponding to the detected offer to initiate the purchase of the content item; in response to receiving a status request from a mobile device that is connected to the same local area network as the media device, transmitting the encoded offer data associated with the purchase of the content item to the mobile device, wherein the encoded offer data causes a payment user interface to be presented on the mobile device; receiving a cast request from the mobile device to cast the content item on the media device; and in response to the cast request, executing a receiver application on the media device that accepts the cast request from the mobile device and causes the content item to be presented using the media device.

An exemplary method for improving dataloading in an airplane includes retrieving, from an in-flight entertainment connectivity (IFEC) system, at least one avionics software, the IFEC system comprising a mass storage device comprising a first storage segment and a second storage segment, the first storage segment being a secure storage segment configured to store the at least one avionics software, and the second storage segment being configured to store media content, and loading, using a wireless network converter coupled to a wired legacy port, the at least one avionics software onto a target avionics system.

This multimedia multimedia server for installation on board an aircraft comprises at least one network switch card configured to manage communications with at least one network of an on-board local-area network and an external communication network; and at least one other electronic card selected from the group consisting of: a data storage card and a compute card. The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for synthesizing a video, and a storage medium. The method is implemented as follows. A video to be synthesized is displayed on a video editing interface. In response to a video sharing instruction, a friend recommendation list is acquired and displayed. The friend recommendation list is used for indicating a plurality of sharing objects. A synthesized video is generated based on the video and the target sharing object. A reminding mark for indicating the target sharing object is displayed on a video picture of the synthesized video.

A computer-implemented method/system of providing video clip playback, including: (i) receiving a video feed; (ii) converting the video feed into a compressed format structure; (iii) uploading the compressed format structure to a first server; (iv) receiving an electronic edit decision list defining how to manipulate the compressed format structure; (v) saving the electronic edit decision list to a server; (vi) receiving a request to provide to a user terminal a video clip playback corresponding to a video clip defined by the compressed format structure and the electronic edit decision list; (vii) sending to the user code executable to provide the video clip defined by the compressed format structure and the electronic edit decision list, and (viii) responding to requests from the code when executed, to provide content corresponding to the compressed format structure stored, in accordance with the electronic edit decision list, to provide the decision list video clip playback.

The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for synthesizing a video, and a storage medium. The method is implemented as follows. A video to be synthesized is displayed on a video editing interface. In response to a video sharing instruction, a friend recommendation list is acquired and displayed. The friend recommendation list is used for indicating a plurality of sharing objects. A synthesized video is generated based on the video and the target sharing object. A reminding mark for indicating the target sharing object is displayed on a video picture of the synthesized video.

A video interaction method includes: displaying an interactive video playing page playing a target interactive video; playing a first target object in the target interactive video in the interactive video playing page, and displaying a first interaction component in a first region associated with the first target object; determining, in response to a first operation on the first interaction component, a first sub-variable value of a first sub-variable corresponding to the first interaction component; and playing a target media segment of the target interactive video in the interactive video playing page according to the first sub-variable value.

An apparatus, method, system and computer-readable medium are disclosed for, in one aspect, determining when a trigger, such as an application trigger, should be generated. In some embodiments, the application trigger may be generated when a frame included in a feed (e.g., a content feed) matches a specified or indicated frame. In some embodiments, a comparison between the feed and the specified or indicated frame may be based on one or more tolerances or thresholds. In some embodiments, the feed may be split and content (e.g., video) obtained via the split may be combined (e.g., multiplexed) with a trigger. The combined content and trigger may be transmitted to one or more devices, such as one or more user devices.
