An imaging system includes a housing, circuitry within the housing, and a connector coupled to the circuitry and extending from the housing for electrical and mechanical connection with a personal electronic device. The connector can be secured to the housing using a connector support that is resilient and flexible. The connector can be electrically coupled to a main printed circuit board assembly using a flexible circuit. The resilient connector support can be configured to allow movement of the connector relative to the housing. The flexible circuit is configured to maintain electrical connection to the main printed circuit board assembly when the connector moves relative to the housing. The imaging system can be a thermal imaging system and may include an infrared camera core.

An image forming apparatus includes an Internet Printing Protocol FaxOut Service (IPP-FAX) processing unit and first and second processing units. The IPP-FAX processing unit receives a service request relating to IPP-FAX from an external apparatus. The first processing unit generates, and stores, image data from page description language (PDL) data. The IPP-FAX processing unit acquires PDL data, image processing information, and destination information from the service request and notifies the first processing unit of the PDL data and the image processing information. The first processing unit generates, and stores, image data from the PDL data based on the image processing information. The IPP-FAX processing unit notifies the second processing unit of the destination information, and image data indicating information. The second processing unit performs fax transmission of the stored image data to a destination indicated by the destination information.

Information processing equipment includes an image formation apparatus and a server device mutually integrated together. The server device includes a housing, a server main body unit provided inside the housing, a fan which generates an air stream flowing from outside the housing toward inside the housing and supplies the air stream to the server main body unit to cool the server main body unit, and a filter disposed at a position upstream of the server main body unit in a direction in which the air stream flows. The image formation apparatus or the server device is provided with a control unit restricting an operation of at least one of the image formation apparatus and the fan when the server device undergoes maintenance and inspection.

Embodiments of the invention are directed to a device that physically imprints a paper resource distribution document for verification and authenticity purposes. In this way, the device links to a user network and associates with resource distributions available for the user. Upon authorization of the user into the device, the device may receive input from a user, including an amount for the paper resource distribution document. Upon receiving the information from the user, the device activates and prints a resource distribution document with at least a portion of the paper resource distribution document printed with dimpled or embossed characters. As such, the dimpled or embossed character recognition at distribution of the resource distribution document confirms the paper resource distribution document's authenticity.
