Optical device, image reading apparatus, and image forming apparatus for suppressing stray light using light shielding body that overlap rows of lens array and covered by regulating body with through holes
An optical device includes a lens body including plural lenses of which optical axes are arranged alongside each other, and having an intermediate image forming surface for forming an erect real image of equal magnification formed in an optical path, a light shielding body that is provided to face a light incident surface of the lens body, and includes a transmitting portion that is positioned on the optical axes of the plural lenses and transmits light and a light shielding unit that is positioned on a portion other than the optical axes of the plural lenses and shields the passage of light, and a regulating body that is provided to face a light incident surface of the light shielding body, includes an opening narrower than the transmitting portion, and regulates a part of light toward the transmitting portion.
Lens unit, image reading device, and image forming apparatus
A lens unit includes a tube lens; a single lens arranged at a downstream side with respect to the tube lens in an optical incidence direction; and a supporting member that supports the tube lens and the single lens. Reflection light from a document is condensed on an image sensor by the tube lens and the single lens to form an image. An end surface part, not facing the tube lens, of the single lens is in direct contact with the supporting member.
Rotatable scanner image sensors within sealed enclosures
An example scanner device includes a sealed enclosure including a scan window to allow light to enter the sealed enclosure, and an optical assembly including a light source and an image sensor. The light source is to emit light through the scan window onto a medium to be scanned. The image sensor is to capture light reflected by the medium through the scan window. The optical assembly is rotatably positioned within the sealed enclosure. An actuator is disposed within the sealed enclosure to rotate the optical assembly to aim the optical assembly at different locations on the scan window.

Optical scanning device and image forming apparatus
An optical scanning device includes a light source having plural light emitting portions, a deflection unit that deflects and scans plural light beams emitted from the light source in a main scanning direction, and plural optical element groups disposed between the light source and the deflection unit and including an optical element having a negative refractive power along a sub-scanning direction intersecting the main scanning direction. An interval in the sub-scanning direction of the plural light beams is adjusted by tilting the optical element having the negative refractive power on an axis along the main scanning direction.
