Cover data representative of a cover sheet is created according to the settings of a cover sheet of a fax document, and header data representative of a header is created according to the settings of a header of the fax document. Upon receipt of an instruction for transmitting a fax document from the user, the mobile terminal transmits an instruction to the image forming apparatus for reading an original and transmitting the fax document, together with transmission destination information indicative of a transmission destination to which the fax document is to be transmitted and at least one of the cover data and the header data.

An image forming apparatus includes: an image reading section, an operating section; a synthesizing region acceptance section that accepts, through the touch panel, specification of an object synthesizing region of a document image acquired by reading by the image reading section; an object acquiring section that acquires a plurality of objects to be individually synthesized in the object synthesizing region; and an image creating section that synthesizes each of object images representing the acquired objects in the object synthesizing region of the document image, thus creating, for the plurality of objects, individual outputting synthetic images containing the respective object images synthesized thereinto.

An energy saving setting unit controls an image forming apparatus that makes a transition to a power saving state if a transition time passes without any prescribed operation in a normal state, and it includes: a unit for storing specific day information distinguishing a normal operation day and a specific day; an auto pattern updating unit determining the transition time in a normal operation day based on past operational status of the normal operation day of the image forming apparatus; a specific day pattern registering unit receiving and storing setting of the transition time of the specific day; and a switching unit, switching the state of conduction of the image forming apparatus using the transition time determined by the auto pattern updating unit and the stored transition time, on the normal operation day and on the specific day, respectively, based on the specific day information.

A user terminal apparatus is provided. The user terminal apparatus includes a camera unit configured to photograph an object, a controller configured to detect an object image from an image of the object photographed by the camera unit, generate image metadata used to change a feature part of the object image, and generate an image file by matching the object image with the image metadata, a storage configured to store the image file, and a display configured to, in response to selecting the image file, display the object image in which the feature part is changed based on the image metadata.

The transmitter transmits the specific thumbnail images each identified by specific thumbnail identification information associated with the specific attribute of the related information.
