The present technology relates to an image sensor, an imaging device, and a ranging device capable of performing imaging so that noise is reduced. A photoelectric conversion unit configured to perform photoelectric conversion; a charge accumulation unit configured to accumulate charges obtained by the photoelectric conversion unit; a transfer unit configured to transfer the charges from the photoelectric conversion unit to the charge accumulation unit; a reset unit configured to reset the charge accumulation unit; a reset voltage control unit configured to control a voltage to be applied to the reset unit; and an additional control unit configured to control addition of capacitance to the charge accumulation unit are included. The charge accumulation unit includes a plurality of regions. The present technology can be applied to, for example, an imaging device that captures an image and a ranging device that performs ranging.
Image Capturing Hardware and Methods
An image capturing system and methods of capturing images is provided. The system pairs an image sensor with a lighting element and light control components to improve image quality. The system further pairs one or more image sensor with one or more respective image focusing elements, thereby enabling the system to cover a variety of regions. Certain methods of the present invention include controlling light production and/or otherwise controlling when the sensor is exposed to light, what light the image sensor is exposed to, and which pathway the light must travel. By controlling light, the system and methods of the present invention controls image capture. Information availability is optimized and data processing is minimized by optimizing camera placement. Information reliability is optimized through routine assessment of the system and, when necessary, dynamically calibrating the system.
Firearm analytics device
The invention describes a system for or recording the usage of a firearm and helping a user during usage of the firearm using multiple sensors to gather various information. The system includes a plurality of sensors to record various usage and status data of the firearm. The system further includes a communication module communicatively coupled to the sensors. The communication module is further connected to a processor. The system further includes a memory, a clock chip and an information disseminating device that includes a communication port. The plurality of sensors are configured to gather various information about a firearm device that may be a pistol, a revolver, a gun, etc. after being attached to the firearm device. In addition to the operational information, some of the sensors out of the plurality of sensors may gather information about surrounding environment of the firearm like lighting conditions, wind flow etc. to help a user of the firearm device to use it efficiently.

The control module outputs a control signal to control the first image capture module and the second image capture module to be in a working state in a time-sharing manner. A first signal interface is electrically connected to the first node. The first optimization unit is electrically connected between the first node and the first image capture module, and the second optimization unit is electrically connected between the first node and the second image capture module. The first optimization unit is configured to ensure the smoothness of a curve of a first image signal corresponding to a first image captured when the first image capture module is in the working state, and the second optimization unit is configured to ensure the smoothness of a curve of a second image signal corresponding to a second image captured when the second image capture module is in the working state.
METHOD FOR ASYNCHRONOUSLY STORING MASSIVE DATA GENERATED DURING HIGH SPEED VIDEO MEASUREMENT
The present invention relates to a method for asynchronously storing massive data generated during high speed video measurement, the method including the following steps: step (1), constructing a high speed video measurement hardware model; and step (2) realizing asynchronous I/O real-time storage in a high speed solid state disk on the basis of Windows core programming. Compared with the prior art, the present invention solves the problems of incompleteness or frame drop during real-time storage of massive data, and realizes real-time and lossless storage of massive high speed data.
Solid-state imaging device and method for driving the same, and electronic apparatus
The present technology relates to a solid-state imaging device, method for driving the same, and electronic apparatus capable of avoiding an occurrence of a blackout in low-speed read-out. The solid-state imaging device includes a pixel array unit in which a plurality of pixels is two-dimensionally arranged in a matrix, and a control unit that exposes all pixels of the pixel array unit at a same exposure timing and performs thinned read-out 2(N−1) times in which all the pixels are thinned to 1/N, so as to read electric charge in all the pixels of the pixel array unit, the electric charge being generated at the same exposure timing. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a solid-state imaging device, or the like, incorporated in an imaging device.

A method for controlling an autoexposure function of a camera to a gray level setting, the method including establishing a critical exposure time of an image sensing device of the camera, wherein the critical exposure time of the image sensing device of the camera is an exposure time at which a first sensed gray level of the image sensing device of the camera is disposed at a target gray level, the sensed gray level is disposed in a trend of decreasing sensed gray level values; exposing the image sensing device of the camera to light to obtain a second sensed gray level and comparing the second sensed gray level at the critical exposure time to the target gray level, if the second sensed gray level is disposed at least at the target gray level, limiting the exposure of the image sensing device of the camera to the critical exposure time.
Photographing system and photographing system control method
Provided is an image sensor including a pixel array formed by arranging pixels, which generate an electrical signal in response to light; a memory for storing a register value of the image sensor; and a sensor controller for configuring the register value, wherein the register value includes information for defining a region to be processed in the pixel array, and when a change request for changing at least one of a position and a size of the region to be processed is received, the sensor controller provides a register modification command for adjusting the register value so as to correspond to the change request to the image sensor or the memory.

An apparatus for analyzing a plant specimen is disclosed which includes a housing assembly adapted to be in i) an open configuration adapted to receive a plant specimen, and ii) a closed configuration wherein ambient light is controlled therein, a light source disposed in or coupled to the housing assembly, the light source adapted to shine light onto or through the plant specimen when the housing assembly is in the closed configuration, and a camera assembly coupled to the housing assembly, the camera assembly having an image sensor adapted to receive light from the plant specimen in i) a transmittance mode where light transmits through the plant specimen, or ii) a reflectance mode where light is reflected from the plant specimen, the image sensor adapted to thereby capture hyperspectral images of the plant specimen.
