CONTROL AND SYNCHRONIZATION IN VIDEO PRODUCTION
Index values are periodically incremented at a central or primary video production control system and a video production control system node. Messages that include or otherwise indicate current index values generated by the primary video production control system are transmitted to the video production control system node, and the node reflects the messages back to the primary video production control system. The primary video production control system determines a round-trip message time, associated with the video production control system node, based on the transmitted messages and reflections of the messages received from the node. A further message that includes or otherwise indicates an instruction for execution of a task at a target execution time, is transmitted by the primary video production control system to the node at a time, in advance of the target execution time, that is based on the round-trip message time.

RECEPTION APPARATUS, RECEPTION METHOD, AND TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION SYSTEM
Initial synchronization is achieved without depending on fluctuations of a transmission packet transfer delay time in a network.
An IP packet having a multiplexed transport packet containing media data is received via a network. The IP packet is processed, and media presentation by the media data is controlled. A presentation timing is controlled on the basis of a network delay time in communication between a transmission side and a reception apparatus via the network. For example, the multiplexed transport packet is a TS packet making up an MPEG-2 transport stream.

ENHANCED SYNCHRONIZATION FRAMEWORK
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium that provides an enhanced synchronization framework. One of the methods includes a primary and a second device that receive configuration information which identifies one or more actions to be performed by the secondary device when it receives specified pulses of a sequence of pulses from the primary device. The primary device transmits a sequence of pulses. The primary and the secondary device receive a particular pulse from the sequence of pulses. The secondary device determines whether the particular pulse satisfies one or more predetermined criteria and generates an instruction based on the determination.

Video generating method, apparatus, electronic device and computer storage medium
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a video generating method, apparatus, electronic device, and computer storage medium. The method comprises: receiving a user's video capturing operation through a video playing interface of an original video; in response to the video capturing operation, superimposing a video capturing window on the video playing interface, capturing a user's video, and displaying the user's video through the video capturing window; and combining the user's video with the original video to obtain a combined video. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the combined video by combining the user's video with the original video may be obtained conveniently and quickly, and the operation process is simple and fast, and the actual application requirements of the user can be better meet, which improves the users' interactive experience.
SIGNAL VARIATION MEASUREMENT
A method for identifying variations introduced in signals transmitted over a signal path, the method comprising sending, over the signal path, one or more test patterns with functional features to a test pattern analyser, wherein said functional features are for determining aspects of variations introduced in the one or more test patterns during transmission over the signal path; and including a data pattern in at least one of the test patterns prior to said sending, said data pattern comprising meta-data on functional features of the at least one test pattern.
