Quality of multimedia
A computer-implemented method, a computer system and a computer program product improve the quality of multimedia. The method includes displaying a current frame of a video. The method also includes generating dataframes for the current frame and for a reference frame of the video. The method further includes comparing the dataframes for the reference and current frames. In addition, the method includes determining a quality metric of the current frame based on the comparison of the dataframes for the reference and current frames. Finally, the method includes altering an orientation of the display of the current frame in response to determining that the quality metric of the current frame is below a threshold.
Crowdsourced Cinematic Universe Model
A storytelling system that simplifies the filmmaking process to enable end-users, including, but not limited to, audiences of movies, TV shows, and commercials, and product-narrative owners, including, but not limited to studios, TV networks, filmmakers, and brands, to co-produce audio-visual stories as extensions of existing product-narratives. The system includes, but is not limited to, story prompts that direct end-users' filmmaking activities, protocol to frame creation of audio-visual stories within the product-narrative, a function for end-users to choose relationship status between one another within the product narrative, and a method to catalogue activity within the system, which can be delivered in varying formats. The system includes, but is not limited to, a method for product-narrative owner to organize end-user's audio-visual story, a plurality of end-user audio-visual stories, the product-narrative, and/or any combination thereof, to articulate expanded product-narrative as a result of the system.
IMAGING DEVICE, IMAGING METHOD, AND IMAGING PROGRAM
Provided are an imaging device, an imaging method, and an imaging program capable of easily acquiring a slow moving image with good image quality. In one aspect of the present invention, an imaging device includes an optical system, an imaging element, and a processor, and the processor performs detection processing of detecting a movement of a subject based on an image signal output from the imaging element, frame rate control of increasing a frame rate of a moving image output from the imaging element based on the detected movement, exposure control processing of maintaining a rate of an exposure time per frame of the moving image constant according to the increase in the frame rate, and dimming control processing of changing a degree of dimming of the optical system according to the exposure control processing.
Systems and methods of remote video production, and apparatus therefor
A portable remote controlled video production apparatus and method are provided, as is a teleprompter/Interrotron integrated with a camera. A computer is mounted in a rigid cage, the computer having a local portion of remote access remote control software. A camera is fixedly mounted in the cage in communication with the computer; either the camera or the computer have camera control software running thereon. A monitor is fixedly mounted in the cage in front of the camera and parallel to the lens axis; the monitor is in communication with the computer. A beamsplitter is fixedly mounted in the cage in front of the lens reflecting light from the monitor towards a front of the cage. The camera and computer are controllable remotely via a remote portion of the remote access remote control software running on a remote computer communicating with the local portion of the remote access remote control software.
SHOOTING METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A shooting method includes the following steps. A current display page is displayed and controls in a control region of the current display page are also displayed, where the controls includes a main shooting control and at least two special effect controls; when a target slide operation acting on a main display region of the current display page is received, each control is controlled to move; when the target control is the special effect control, a shooting page and a preview effect of a target shoot special effect are displayed on the shooting page, and when a first trigger operation acting on the trigger position is detected, shooting is performed by using the target shooting special effect; and when the target control is the main shooting control, the shooting page is displayed, and when a second trigger operation acting on the trigger position is detected, the shooting is performed.
MACHINE LEARNING DRIVEN TELEPROMPTER
Techniques performed by a data processing system for a machine learning driven teleprompter include displaying a teleprompter transcript associated with a presentation on a display of a computing device associated with a presenter; receiving audio content of the presentation including speech of the presenter in which the presenter is reading the teleprompter transcript; analyzing the audio content of the presentation using a first machine learning model to obtain a real-time textual translation of the audio content, the first machine learning model being a natural language processing model trained to receive audio content including speech and to translate the audio content into a textual representation of the speech; analyzing the real-time textual representation and the teleprompter transcript with a second machine learning model to obtain transcript position information; and automatically scrolling the teleprompter transcript on the display of the computing device based on the transcript position information.
System and method for connecting multiple video, metadata and remote telecommand signals for teleprompting and other applications
An apparatus comprises at least one processing device, the at least one processing device being configured to receive an encapsulation of two or more types of content associated with a camera system, the two or more types of content comprising one or more video signals and one or more data signals. The at least one processing device is also configured to separate the encapsulation into the two or more types of content to obtain the one or more video signals and the one or more data signals, to output at least a given one of the one or more video signals to a first display unit, and to provide at least a given one of the one or more data signals to at least one of (i) a controller associated with the first display unit and (ii) a second display unit.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING AND INTERACTING WITH COORDINATED PRESENTATIONS
A system and method provide customizable interactive audio/video content to each of a plurality of computing devices. When executing at least some code stored in the memory, a processor generates a coordinated presentation by integrating in the memory, via a video mixer, one or more images from a camera with content selected by at least one user. Further the at least one processor is configured to process the coordinated presentation to provide an abridged version of the coordinated presentation at at least one of the remote devices.
