Electronic device including rotating optical module
According to various embodiments disclosed herein, an electronic device may include: a first housing; a second housing coupled to the first housing and configured to slide in a first direction or a second direction opposite the first direction with respect to the first housing between a first position at which at least a portion of the second housing is accommodated in the first housing and a second position at which the second housing protrudes from the first housing; an optical module comprising optical circuitry mounted on the second housing, the optical module configured to be rotated in response to sliding of the second housing to be disposed to face a rear side of the first housing at the first position and to face a front side of the first housing at the second position; and an elastic member comprising a flexible elastic material accommodated in the second housing and configured to provide an elastic force to the optical module. The elastic member may provide the elastic force in a rotating direction of the optical module in a first operation in which the optical module rotates while moving from the first position to the second position or in a second operation in which the optical module rotates while moving from the second position to the first position.
Visual inspection device
A visual inspection device includes a housing, a handle coupled to the housing that is grasped by a user while the device is in use, an articulating camera unit coupled to the housing, and a display unit coupled to the housing to display an image transmitted by the articulating camera unit.
Communication apparatus including a communication device for communicating with an external apparatus, and to control in activating the communication device by the communication apparatus and method for controlling the same
When activating a communication device to start communication, it takes time to perform automatic negotiation processing from when communication device starts processing until communication by the communication device is enabled. A communication apparatus includes a communication device configured to communicate with an external apparatus, and a control unit configured to control the communication apparatus. When starting communication with the external apparatus by activating the communication device in a non-operating state, the control unit controls the communication device such that a setting sequence for making a communication setting for a communication interface based on a predetermined communication method which is included in the communication device is executed in parallel with a starting sequence for activating the communication device.
Wipeable camera system and device
A camera system includes a camera having a lens, and a wiper assembly attached to the camera and configured for removing a contaminant from the system. The assembly includes a housing including a frame having a back panel that defines a first viewport covering the lens; a shield; and a disc. The shield defines a second viewport spaced apart from the first and is attached to the frame to define a wash chamber between the shield and the frame. The disc is formed from a transparent material and is disposed between the shield and the housing within the chamber so as to cover the lens at the first viewport. The disc is rotatable within the chamber between a first position in which the contaminant is disposed on and partially obscures the disc, and a second position in which the contaminant is not disposed on the disc at the second viewport.
Shock-resistant camera mounting device and methods of forming the same
Mounting systems and kits for video recording devices, including a housing partially disposed within a suspension element, the suspension element having a mounting bracket connected thereto, and one or more shock-absorbing elements positioned at an interface or disposed at least partially between at least a portion of the housing and the suspension element. The housing can also include one or more thermal management or temperature control elements, including one or more heating elements, cooling elements, thermal conducting elements, heat dissipating elements, and/or ventilation elements. A kit can include a plurality of thermal management elements, including a variety of interchangeable thermal management modules for selectively heating and/or cooling the video recording device.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
Provided are an electronic device capable of accurately measuring the effect of continuous beauty treatment based on the biological information acquired from a video, a method for controlling an electronic device, and a control program for an electronic device. The electronic device 1 includes: an imaging condition adjuster 111a that makes an imaging device capture a video of at least a part of a body to acquire pulse-wave information for adjustment indicating a pulse wave of the body based on the video, and adjusts an imaging condition based on the pulse-wave information for adjustment; and a video processing unit 111 that makes the imaging device capture a first video of at least a part of the body under the imaging condition adjusted by the imaging condition adjuster 111a to acquire video information on the body in the first video, and acquires first pulse-wave information on the body based on the video information on the body in the first video.
Combined camera and wearable ring for holding a camera
A wearable device, such as a ring, is used to be worn on at least one part of a human body. A wearable device includes a body having a bottom surface and a top surface, an opening defined between the top surface and the bottom surface. The opening is used to receive therethrough and hold the at least one part of the human body. A pocket is defined in the body between the opening and the top surface for holding the camera presenting an activation button to turn on and turn off the camera. The body includes a membrane defined in the top surface of the body.
Visual inspection device
A visual inspection device includes a housing, a handle coupled to the housing that is grasped by a user while the device is in use, and an articulating camera unit coupled to the housing. The articulating camera unit includes a flexible cable with a first end coupled to the housing and a second end, a camera coupled to the second end of the flexible cable and operable to transmit image data through the flexible cable, and an articulation mechanism operable to articulate the camera relative to the flexible cable. The articulation mechanism includes a mount that is removably coupled to the housing. The articulating camera unit further includes a means for securing the mount to the housing in a plurality of different orientations relative to the housing. The visual inspection device further includes a display unit coupled to the housing to display an image transmitted by the articulating camera unit.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY DRIVING DUAL DISPLAYS WITH SAME CAMERA VIDEO DATA AND DIFFERENT GRAPHICS
An image capture system includes an image sensor configured to capture image information, a display module configured to blend image information with first user interface graphics and text to generate first image information for a first display, a processor configured to process the image information for use for a second display, blend the processed image information with second user interface graphics and text to generate second image information for a second display, and store the second image information in a buffer of a triple buffer structure, a first display driver for generating signals from the first image information to drive the first display, and a second display driver for generating signals from the second image information to drive the second display, where the first display driver and the second display driver are different display driver types.
