Content presenting method, user equipment and system
A content presenting method includes: starting a 3D application, in response to an instruction, a 3D application presenting a simulated object of an end user and a virtual screen for displaying live content in a virtual environment; receiving a content source address of the live content that is provided by another user equipment on an anchor to a content providing server, and that is currently broadcasted on the content providing server; obtaining audio data and video data of the live content from the content providing server, based on the content source address; rendering the audio data and the video data to obtain video content and audio content; playing the audio content in the 3D application; obtaining content of interaction between the anchor of the video content displayed using the virtual screen and the simulated object; and displaying the video content and the content of interaction on the virtual screen.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CONDITION MITIGATION
Methods and systems are described for condition mitigation. A computing device may display content. The computing device may determine that displaying and/or outputting the content may impact a person with a condition. The computing device may take an action to reduce an impact of the content on the person.
System and Methods of Real-Time Creation of Electronic Programming Guides for Radio Broadcasts
A method including while receiving a live digital audio stream from one or more remote servers and outputting the live digital audio stream via a speaker of a client device, receiving the updated content schedule from the one or more remote servers, generating and displaying a real-time programming guide user-interface including the updated content schedule and least one content segment component corresponding to at least one of the content segment data in the updated content schedule. The method further includes transmitting a content segment digital audio signal request to the one or more remote servers for a prior portion of the live digital audio stream corresponding to the content segment data; and, in response to receiving the prior portion of the live digital audio stream, ceasing outputting the live digital audio stream and outputting the prior portion of the live digital audio stream corresponding to the content segment data.

MULTIMEDIA SERVICE PROVIDING DEVICE AND MULTIMEDIA SERVICE PROVIDING METHOD
A multimedia service providing method according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: transmitting video data to a display device; transmitting a request message for requesting connection state information to one or more remote wireless speakers; receiving the connection state information from the one or more remote wireless speakers; separately calculating a delay time, which is a time at which a transmission delay is predicted, on the basis of the received connection state information; transmitting no audio data to a remote wireless speaker having a delay time longer than a preconfigured time from among the one or more remote wireless speakers; and transmitting the audio data to a remote wireless speaker having a delay time shorter than the preconfigured time from among the one or more remote wireless speakers, wherein the preconfigured time is configured to be a maximum allowable synchronization time difference between the video data and the audio data.
Method and device for audio and video synchronization
A method for audio and video synchronization, includes: receiving audio data sent by the video player, wherein the audio data includes more than one audio sampling points; obtaining a network delay change between the audio player and the video player, wherein the network delay change refers to a time difference between the network delay monitored for the first time and the network delay monitored for the last time; determining a total amount of audio data to be adjusted according to the network delay change; and adding audio sampling points to the received audio data or deleting audio sampling points from the received audio data according to the total amount of audio data to be adjusted and a preset adjustment strategy, so that the audio player is synchronized with the video player, and playing the added or deleted audio data.
Systems and methods for detecting light signatures and performing actions in response thereto
There is provided systems and methods for performing actions based on light signatures. An exemplary system includes a light source, a light detector, a non-transitory memory storing a plurality of light signatures and a hardware processor. The hardware processor executes an executable code to illuminate, using the light source, a target object with a first light, collect, using the light detector, a second light being a reflection of the first light by the target object, match the second light with one of the plurality of light signatures, and perform an action in response to matching the second light with the one of the plurality of light signatures.
Audio adjustment system
An audio adjustment system is provided that can output a user interface customized by the provider of the audio system instead of the electronic device manufacturer. Such an arrangement can save both field engineers and manufacturers a significant amount of time. Advantageously, in certain embodiments, such an audio adjustment system can be provided without knowledge of the electronic device's firmware. Instead, the audio adjustment system can communicate with the electronic device through an existing audio interface in the electronic device to enable a user to control audio enhancement parameters in the electronic device. For instance, the audio adjustment system can control the electronic device via an audio input jack on the electronic device.
Use of messages in or associated with program signal streams by set-top terminals
Methods of operating a communications system comprise, in one example, inserting advertising in a program stream by a receiving device based, at least in part, on an encrypted segmentation message embedded in the program steam. The at least one segmentation message defines an expanse of the program stream to receive the advertising. At least one embedded decoy message is included in the program stream, as well. In one example the receiving device, which may be a set-top terminal, for example, is coupled to a display device, such as a television, at a user location. A method of operating a receiving device coupled to a display device at a user location is also disclosed, comprising programming the receiving device to record a program and recording the program based, at least in part, on at least one segmentation message in a program stream. Systems are disclosed, as well.
