MULTI-MODAL APPROACH TO A SECURE AND CLOSED SOLUTION FOR PROVIDING SCHEDULED NOTIFICATIONS
20230087028 · 2023-03-23 ·

A multi-modal portal system provides an authorization prior to establishing a visual interface connection between a support user or caller and a client user or receiving party. Once the caller is authorized, the caller is permitted to drop-in such that a visual interface connection is established with the receiving party. The authorization can be based on a profile configuration that indicates whether the caller has the credentials required for the visual interface. The authorization can require that a notification be sent to a trusted user or primary contact or the caller can be associated with a profile configuration that allows for a pre-authorization without requiring the notification. Also, a schedule associated with the profile configuration can ensure a video notification of one or more scheduling parameters to the client user as well as the receipt of a video response from the client user.

Systems and methods for interconnecting point-to-point (P2P) (i.e. SIP/H323) and web browser compatible video conferencing services. The conference platform gatewaying service may use a virtual web browser participant to send and/or receive video and/or audio over VoIP/Video standards, such as SIP/H323 or other point-to-point protocols into a web browser compatible conference by means of a virtual web browser participant. The conference platform gateway service may create a binding between a SIP address and a web meeting URL. When communication is initiated from a compatible peer device to the gateway/server by means of a point-to-point protocol, the gateway/server establishes a connection to the web-based conference using the binding between URI and URL, and establishes a connection between the Point-to-point and Web browser compatible meeting service.

Artificial intelligence communication assistance for improving the effectiveness of communications using reaction data

In embodiments of the present invention improved capabilities are described for an artificial intelligence communication assistant improving the effectiveness of communications with user reaction data.

Inter Radio Access Technology Management for Audiovisual Calls

This disclosure relates to inter radio access technology management for audiovisual calls. Wireless link availability and suitability for an audiovisual call may be evaluated for each of a first radio access technology and a second radio access technology. One or more wireless links on which to establish an audiovisual call may be selected based on the evaluations. The audiovisual call may be established on the selected wireless link(s). Wireless link availability and suitability for an audiovisual call may be monitored during the audiovisual call and decisions on whether to perform handover to a different wireless link and/or media duplication on multiple wireless links may be made based on the suitability for an audiovisual call of available wireless links.

Mediated active call initiation in browsers

An efficient computer-implemented method that allows an owner of a website to initiate voice and/or video calls with clients that are visiting the website of the owner in a manner that is simple for the visitor and can use fewer network resources than in prior approaches. The visit of the client to the website causes creating a socket connection between the client and the server. The server executes an application program to maintain a list of connected clients, and various metadata about the clients, which is presented to the website owner in an interface display. The owner can select any particular client among all the clients in the list, to initiate a peer-to-peer connection with that particular client and begin a call with them. The process executes without the client explicitly requesting a call. Consequently, a visitor to a website, and a representative of the website, can establish an audiovisual call rapidly and efficiently, then immediately begin addressing questions, requests, or requirements of the visitor.

TRANSMITTER DEVICE APPLIED TO VIDEO CONFERENCE SYSTEM

A transmitter device applied to a conference system is disclosed. The conference system further includes a receiver device. The receiver device wirelessly receives an image signal transmitted by the transmitter device, and a display coupled to the receiver device displays the image signal. The transmitter device includes a memory storing an identity information corresponding to an authority of the transmitter device. When the transmitter device is coupled to an information processing device, the transmitter device transmits the identity information to the information processing device. An application driver of the information processing device determines the authority of the transmitter device according to the identity information.

Video integration

According to one aspect, a web optimized user device is provided. The web optimized device reduces complexity and facilitates interaction with web-based services and content. The web optimized device can be configured without a hard drive, facilitating integration of web-based services into a computing experience. The web optimized device presents a user interface that integrates video functionality into every aspect of the computer content accessed. In particular, a display manager manages the user interface presented and integrates video displays and features into the content displays in a content and/or context aware manner. These displays permit a user to intuitively interact with the video content and features while the user changes content, for example, web-based services, web-based applications, and other media content, without interruption of or interference from the video content.

Image display method for video conferencing system with wide-angle webcam

An image display method applicable to a video conferencing system with a wide-angle webcam is disclosed. The wide-angle webcam is used to capture a panoramic image having an aspect ratio greater than or equal to 2:1. The method includes: framing multiple regions of interest (ROIs) according to the panoramic image, each ROI having at least one of attributes; selecting one from predetermined frame layouts as an output frame layout according to whether to insert a portion of the panoramic image and attributes, positions and the number of the ROIs; and inserting at least one of the portion of the panoramic image and the ROIs into corresponding windows in the output frame layout to form a composite frame according to the attributes of the ROIs.
