Mounting configurations for optical fiber distribution systems

A cable management unit including a support assembly for mounting a patch panel, such as to a wall. The support assembly may include first and second anchor members adapted to be anchored to the wall, and first and second support arms hingedly coupled to the first and second anchor members at first and second hinge points, respectively. The first and second support arms may be adapted to be coupled to the patch panel. A chassis the patch panel may be supported by the first and second support arms. The first and second support arms may be configured to pivot about the first and second hinge points respectively between storage and access positions. The first and second support arms may extend outward from the wall in the access position and may be substantially parallel to the wall in the storage position.

Communication patch panel and communication rack system

The present invention relates to a communication patch panel and a communication rack system having the communication patch panel. The communication patch panel includes a panel body (2) having two ends as well as a front side (21) and a rear side. The communication patch panel includes two fittings (3), each of which is configured to be mounted on a communication rack (20) and to be detachably connected to one of the ends of the panel body, wherein each of the fittings provides a plurality of transverse positions for the detachable connection. A plurality of different positionings of the panel body may be flexibly realized in the communication patch panel.

Moveable bend control and patch cord support for telecommunications panel

A termination field and a guide member are independently pivotally coupled to a base body. The termination field pivots relative to the base body along a path of travel. The guide member is coupled to the base body to provide bend radius protection to cables plugged into the termination field. The guide member defines a channel leading the cables from the termination field towards a first side of the base body at an exterior of the base body. In certain examples, the guide member and termination field pivot relative to the base body about different hinge axes. In other examples, the termination field pivots with the guide member for part of the path of travel and relative to the guide member for another part of the path of travel.

Fiber distribution hub with swiveling frame body

A fiber distribution hub configured to house a patch panel includes a plurality of walls forming a chamber, a first shelf attached to a first wall of the plurality of walls in the chamber, a first track supported by the first shelf, and a frame body configured to support the patch panel and to be coupled with the first shelf via the first track. The frame body is configured to shift along the first track between a stored position, a front-exposed position, and a back-exposed position.
